Ridsdale and Neil were at Oldham earlier to watch Bodin. Looking like we'll make a move.

Be hilarious when he joins your lot when his contract runs out in the summer. Saggies don't get a penny from it and Bodin is elevated in to Colin Daniel levels of folklore, single handedly responsible for sending them in to administration.

Bless! The little club are having a field day on their 'elephant in the room' thread. We have to give it to them, one defeat in 3 MONTHS and they are 'coming for us' again after a point at, erm, Oldham.

Tickle their bellies and just smile, along with the other 25,000+ that watch our games. ;)

I’ve got to come back to this “We’d get 50,000 if we’re top 4 prem year on year”.

Just checked some stats. Only Man U and Arsenal have averaged over 50,000 in each of the last 4 years.

So the deluded blue few believe that, should they ever reach the premier league, they would become the 3rd best supported club in the country.

When they’ve not actually sold out the barely 10k swamp in 15 years!

To be fair Slim, they are bound to be the 3rd best supported club in the country as they are the 6th richest.

Any fool knows that.

Those who don't give a shit about City were out in force again last night following our defeat to Wolves, apparently giving a shit about about City.

Could somebody please produce a nice picture with the words "17 Years" inside a big shadow?

If they are fishing then they can have one back, followed by the word Tinpot. They will probably offer me out and defreind me, but nothing new from the blue few there!

We lost to PNE towards the end of November and got beat by Leeds in late October.....we’ve had more than one defeat in three months...just to give a bit of balance. Leave the exaggerations to that lot...

356 isn't bad considering how poor they are at the moment, we've took similar numbers to Oldham in the past.

For a fan base that claims to have extraordinary away support it's a low turn out isn't it.

Then again, I'm sure if they were visitings Oldhams ground for the first time in 25 years they might of take a few more.

They are only 5 points away from relegation to the 4th division again and the way they are playing, they don't look likely to be climbing the table any time soon.  Take Bodin out of the equation and there is only one way they are going.

And whilst they take 356 to Oldham, we are at home again playing in front of a 25k plus crowd again, on sky every week and 3rd in the league (2nd on monday).

Only 2 more months before the money runs out as well.

Even if we were talking about the most deluded fans in the world......... oh, wait , we are.

If someone said WE would be getting 50k if we were top 4 in the Prem the laughter from the rest of OTIB would be heard from space, but them

This must be the worst time ever to be a sag, there is literally nothing they can say anymore. We are becoming an example in how to run a modern club, while they are being primed for asset stripping and adminnistration. Oh well :laughcont:

Oh look, it's the Gashead who was too ashamed to admit he was a Gashead on here so pretended to be a Pompey fan instead.

Wonder which team the dick will be supporting tomorrow when Rovers play Portsmouth?

To be fair to them they have had some massive games to watch in the last month, and probably had enough of football, attendances may drop next month too:

Sheff U v Bristol City

Bristol City v Man U

Bristol City v Wolves

Coming soon:

Man City v Bristol City

Derby v Bristol City

Bristol City v Man City

Bolton v Bristol City

Thanks for the link @SirColinOfMansfield but I can't stand more than a couple of minutes on there at any one time.  The Hypocrisy and delusion is unbelievable. An example....

"Better cancel their obsessed with Rovers thread now."

This on a thread that is at 20 pages in 10 days . All they have to laugh about is us losing to the best side in the Championship

Oh , and apparently our bubble will burst and away following will drop massively. They could be right with the 2nd bit, only 5,500 sold so far forMan City and members can't buy until tomorrow.

They should set up a thread about themselves called “Elephants on the pitch” although if they got wind of that they’d probably run on the pitch and punch them.

Sell out tomorrow, 7k to Man City etc, yeah our attendances will slump!! Although as much as we’ve had that Man Utd win shoved down our throats, apparently, I would take being in the top 6 of the Championship, being on Sky every week and watching football they can only dream about in packed stadiums ahead of taking 50 to Gillingham, 350 to Oldham and celebrating 0-0 draws at Walsall like they’ve just done Barca!!

Anyone else feel like a healthy dose of Karma is coming to their lot?

The amount of frankly horrible stuff the club and it's fans have been a part of on and off the pitch probably exceeds the most shameful moments of every other club in the country. From tiny bids on AG, laughing in our face in 82, rampant racism for as long as I can remember, homophobia, stealing from the supporters trust to bare faced lying to the supports.

It's not like this current predicament they're about to find themselves in has been coming, has it?

It has to be said that there are 1 or 2 reasonable gasheads out there, they probably get hounded off those weird forums of theirs though. This was a reply to a post of mine on Facebook from an old school mate, who was unfortunate enough to be from a blue family.

"After watching what I have been watching the last few weeks a point @ the mighty Oldham I will take all day long.
On the stories that are being thrown around Iam a little concerned with what’s going on @ the Gas. I think personally we are in a better place than where we were2/3 years ago but until the board come out & tell us fans what is going on everyone will have their own opinions on what is going on.
As you are aware you Teds are very lucky in having someone like Lansdown & transforming your club in to one that one day might step in to the Premiership. He puts his money where his mouth is & fair play to him for doing that. In the meantime I will carry on supporting the other team in Bristol, Rag Ass Rovers I’m afraid once a blue always a blue.
Happy New Year to you & yours"

Happy New Year mate and good luck, you may need it.

Some Man Utd medicine rammed back down their throats.

Watch the bubble burst now....

Watch their away support drop now too.

Hahahahahaha

Better cancel their obsessed with Rovers thread now.

Stuff like this gives me a warm feeling inside knowing how much they are hurting right now.

Notice that was posted by the same brain dead specimen who thought they were going to take 4000 to Notts County and accused Rovers owners of money laundering.

Ive no doubt us losing narrowly to the Championship League leaders made his, and other Gasheads, year. Just let that sink in for a second :laughcont:

Happy New Year City fans.

Thank God that we clearly made the right choice out of red and blue. Here’s to plenty more ‘gifts’ in 2018 from Wally, Hamer and the funny little fan base who inhabit the Horfield World of Tents.

It made his year?? Surely it was when the UWE project collapsed, or was it when we paid just 300 grand for their greatest ever player? Or their own prowed loyal fans stealing from their own club? Or the revelations that his world class club couldn't be f*cked to pay their own staff minimum wage?

No doubt Bennet's goal yesterday will be voted the Bristol Rovers FC 2017 champagne moment. Likewise, all they have to look forward to next year is the possibility of another Dean Windass moment to stop us making the big time.

Bunch of green eyed, sour, poisonous neanderthals. I hope 2018 is their last year in existace.

We should probably look at last night as an act of charity by us towards those less fortunate. We allowed them to forget their own miserable existences for a couple of hours.

Sadly for them, today they have to return to reality and resume staring down the barrel of administration and contemplate their sorry excuse for a football club.

Like Holloway, they are an embarrassment to our city.

No need to apologise SJ - it’s difficult to interpret exact meanings from just text, apologies for misunderstanding! Still, just four defeats in four months in the fifth best/hardest division in Europe speaks for itself.....the Blue Few are just irrelevant, ‘coming for us’ my a**e!

Hahaha the sheer audacity of them to mock us for our defeat against Wolves. 3rd in Championship and beaten Man Utd and still try and mock us, they truely are a 'special' bunch.

Problem is the joke is on them really, laugh now but they'll be back in L2 eventually and I feel City will get stronger.

Yep, comes off the bench at two down and gets us a point. Back getting splinters in his arse the next game.

One of the hardest strikers of a ball I`ve seen since Walshy too - if he hit it, it stayed hit!

Even if we were to totally implode from here on in and finish 15th we would still be streets ahead of them.

It stops them having to think about their car crash of a club.

They aren`t interested in the slightest of being the best they can be. All they care about is being better than us - they would be happy to be back in the conference provided we were one place below them.

I love Sir Rickie Lambert. I love Dean Windass.

They are the biggest bunch of deluded supporters the football league has ever seen.

They go around acting like they are a massive club. All Teds have massive chips on their shoulders, and always have. That is why we hate the sh**.

As Gasheads we took an oath not to bite when we got relegated to the conference and simply stay silent and not mention Teds, but recently they have been unbearable.

I prayed for them to lose against Wolves. At least there is a god!

Different year same shit . This one is right up there.

Think that’s optimistic hope for them

Appears to me to be.a case of which will come first (1) L2 or (2) administration

Personally I think (1) followed by (2) would be quite pleasant but I’m not fussy which comes first
