I still find it very amusing how they love to shout from the rooftops on how great their away following is yet stats show that it’s actually bang average for league one, the way they w4nk each other off about it you’d of thought they out number home sides wherever they go.

I’ve had a fair few of them including family (wrong un’s) try and tell me how good their following is, found the best way to shut them up is to just ask them ‘how isit your fans can’t be assed to bother with home games then?’

Cue... Excuse after excuse.

Bang average. That is them all over.

If you ignore the Conference south standard shitpit of a ground and owners who invest less money that their average season ticket holder..!

Chat shit, lie & exaggerate. It’s what they do..!

One tragic sag on their forum actually said they ‘sold out their away allocations for every game when they were in the conference, giving many clubs their record attendances along the way’....utter bollox obviously, they just can’t help themselves....

I just don’t get why they have to bullshit, lie, exaggerate all of the time? Must be in the Sag genes. It’s clearly bullshit anyway I seem to remember a infamous pic doing the rounds when one of them decided it would be a great idea to attack a player, was a half empty terrace then.

One recently said how close it was to a sell out at the Minimal as they were all packed like sardines!

Stadium Capacity - 12k ish?

Crowd announced - 8k

Sardines mind ?

That was Braintree Town away when the ‘family club’ fans assaulted the home team’s keeper - they lost and the home fans were taunting them with “We know what we are, a pub team from Essex, we know what we are...” - and you are correct, loads of space on the tiny away terrace...more gas bullcrap about selling out every away allocation that season...look at the ‘packed away end’ below...

He did, it was a very surreal weekend, which included . spending a huge sum of money on cocktails, the BNP, a mass brawl between some women in a curry house, but who then all sat down together to eat when the waiters brought the food, a mate earning the nickname Paolo Onesock, and other things that have to remain on tour!

It is one game btw.

Spending huge money on the British National Party?

Mmmm....

The game was moved to the Sunday because there was a BNP march through Derby on the Saturday. I say a march, but most of them seemed to be on the piss in the town centre pubs (which is what I was doing of course) I ended up having a bit of a debate with one of them who struck up a conversation with me, then a few of his mates joined in. It's not really a good idea to argue with pissed up BNPers!

I shall have to start writing a guide to non league grounds for you all :)  Most of us that day (including me) were in the seats on the side, which is out of shot. We probably had about half the crowd that day , which, as you can imagine isn't saying a lot! Probably the lowest point ever of watching Rovers  for me. Not the just been kicked in the balls, feeling sick feeling you get when we ever lost to you, but just a '**** me, what's happened' feeling. We had lost at Altrincham a couple of weeks earlier and the loss at Braintree made it seem like we were in very real danger of going down again.

Bury v Portsmouth

Rovers v Sunderland

As many would have predicted. The competition doesn’t want a Rovers v Bury final. They will be gutted that Rovers are the home team. They fancied a second cup final outing in Sunderland this year, and remember it’s the only club that could have housed Rovers super massive away following. You could argue that Portsmouth could have, but Gas Logic would have you think that Portsmouth are smaller than Rovers, considering the yard stick is Sheffield Wednesday. Just think of all those Teds in the away end? How can you distinguish one as they will all be decked out in red and white? Oh well, it won’t matter because Gasheads will be boycotting the match anyway I suspect?

I guess they're hoping for larger attendances, having the smaller clubs at home - will make the figures look better for Harvey's spin. Can't see many Sunderland fans travelling down, when they've already been here on the Saturday.

I'm still boycotting.

A fair few I would imagine.

Only those who care about football are aware of the boycott, for a lot of people it'll be a day out, and with final appearances not exactly weekly, a lot of people will probably take their kids, mates and have a day out.

Can't blame them either.

I know a few Gasheads that will still boycott the Sunderland game as they already believe that drawing Sunderland would probably mean game over for them in this competition anyway.

The competition has been seriously devalued by the inclusion of under 21’s teams to benefit the elite Premier League clubs. If it was City in the same position I would boycott it myself, so fair play to the Gasheads who stay true to their word on that one.

Sunderland home We might get 4,000 for this one :)

Then at the foot of page 8 -  Can't see anywhere near 25,000 going. We only took 26,000 in 2015 for a far bigger game. I still think plenty would boycott actually.

Fair play if they do boycott. It’s probably the one time I wouldn’t take the piss out of the Gas for a low turnout.

That’ll be the boycott that’s all of a sudden Vanished, because the only reason they we’re boycotting was due to u21 teams being allowed to enter the competition, now they have all been knocked out it’s ok to attend ? mention it to them and they get all defensive and quite angry, same people were telling me how shit and what a complete farce of a competition it was about 2months ago ???

Some clown on their forum thinks both games against Sunderland will sell out, the first probably will due to large away support but the second game not a chance even though the boycott has apparently been lifted by a few of them jokers. Those Sunderland fans will realise how far their fall from grace has been when they turn up at that dump after a 5 hour journey and have to drink fake fanta and eat out of date crisps and pasties, I feel sorry for them.

This shows exactly how much ‘interest’ those morons have shown towards this trophy, it’s only 1 leg for a start! Then as previously pointed out, Sunderland play at the dump on the Saturday before so can’t see them bringing many down a few days later.

It won’t be a sellout at the Mem just because the away section is full, it needs the home fans to fill their sections too and that never happens at Roverzzzz home games...

The only reason the Sh1t fans rate Taylor is because they stole the little rat off us. Any other player who scored so few goals would have been run out of the place ages ago. I see they've given him a contract extension. Not because he's any good but because the Duke can't be seen to lose face, so they'd rather pay the little Turd £15k per week than admit he's not good enough.

I hope he never gets a start for them and Lansdown is left paying him a fortune for the next 2 years. He does seem to be rather injury prone since he left us.

Another case of gas bullshitting, they’ve said it so many times now it is now the truth. He’s on nowhere near that, yet the still nearly tripled his wages.

So if he cost more than what we paid for the snake, surely that must make him a £15m striker?

Glad to see it still really hurts them that their star player couldn’t wait to come and play for us. Must make them doubly gutted that he’s doing well and that we can see there’s much more to his game than scoring goals.

They’ve never replaced him and after jizzing in their pants telling everyone they were coming for us, they’re now heading in the opposite direction whilst we and Matty Taylor enjoy Championship football.

£15k a week?? ?

Clowns.

Lose face? One single pass and assist last year, that was all he needed to do, and he paid off the fee in full.

There`s a real dilemma for their fans on Tuesday which I doubt their tiny brains will be able to deal with without melting.

On balance, Lee Tomlin probably did more harm to us than good so do they applaud him or revert to type and scream `shitheeeeead` at him for ninety minutes prior to him scoring the winner in injury time?

Tomlin did a lot to help us stay up after arriving on loan in our first season back in the Championship. Had we gone down with them getting promoted from L2 they would’ve had their cup final back.

So yeah, it’ll be ”ssshhhhhheeeet ed”

Yes it will spur Tomlin on much like the last player who played against them recently with City connections for Donny (that's rovers not United), he responded to the few half witted moronic shitttttead comments by gleefully tearing them a new one and promptly putting in a man of the match performance, which, granted isn't that hard against a pub team but nevertheless one I'm sure he enjoyed immensely.

He was right up for that game believe me, responded by giving them some back after his cross set up one of their goals, can hear them on the highlights giving it the shithead chant as he’s about to whip it across then...... Silence ?
