Well, not actually possible - Ceefax ceased to exist in 2012 - the gas went down to non league in 2014 - but it’s a good story ...

Watching the Fulham v Villa game at the moment, and just thought I'd check out Tyrone Mings' association with the vile Sags, as I read somewhere that he was with them, but couldn't remember him ever having played for them.

His Wikepedia profile summary indicates that he was with them for a couple of years as a youth but, interestingly (and hilariously), the write-up next to it makes no mention of the vile Sags whatsoever. It's almost as if he's edited it himself and erased the vile Sags from his history.

Just checking the form tables going into this weekends fixtures and I see that the useless (bottom of L1) Sags have not won a competitive game of football for 6 months.  Last 6 WLDDLL.

As a comparison our (top of the Championship) last 6 being WWWWLW with the only loss being to a team currently 4th in the Premiership.

I have to say that I'm fast becoming Ben Garner's number one fan.

No, according to their recruitment team they've brought in vast experience and extremely promising younger players to compliment them. They evidently have the best squad in league one and are expected to challenge for the top spots. I believe this to be true but, it might take some time.
