Well done - have a gold star.

The answer to your question is that there is a problem with the drainage under the pitch, which has affected the surface recently..

The gift that keeps on giving , I’m still laughing at the large screen set up for some event the other week ( can’t remember if it was for World Cup game ) and it didn’t work had to tel people to go home ???? god you couldn’t make it up.

nearly as bad as getting relegated in your own kit, or on the pitch at Wycombe the week before singing the gas are staying up need I go on ?????

Yes, because the Gash are a two-bit outfit who couldn’t organise their poo into the pan.

Sounds like ideal conditions for the swamp life who frequent the P*sspoorial though.

What’s this South Bristol thing. You’ll find we’re from all over this city and the wider area. For example, I’m from Patchway…….. and you laugh at South Bristol! Now **** off you imbecile.

What is difficult to understand is that there has been a drainage problem at that dump for years - so why not fix it ?

I think an attempt was made last season after that thug Barton complained about the state of the pitch, but as per usual it was a short term bodge - much like the rest of the ground with "temporary" stands.

I think we have proved in the past that there are more of us Reds in North Bristol than there are 15ers.

I would like to hear Deluded Sag’s opinion on this subject.

Very true this south Bristol thing is a bit dated even though city support in south Bristol is probably about 90-95% but I would say city have more support in most parts of Bristol now than rovers , I would say rovers only majority’s in political terms would possibly be Filton, patchway, coalpit heath, winterbourne ,

remember growing up kingswood & hanham and yate were always perceived as gas areas certainly not any more

When we are averaging 20,000 (all bar 27)  & they are averaging under 9000 you would have to work for the Post or Radio Bristol to think there was a blue “half” of the city.

Most areas are more red than blue, the numbers show it.

Still don’t believe their game being called off today was legit, apparently Frenchay played & does anyone think they have undersoil heating?

I suppose when you support a crap club with a smattering of fans within a five-mile radius of their miserable excuse for a ground it’s difficult to appreciate that our catchment area extends as far north as Gloucester, south to Taunton and east to Melksham, Chippenham and Devizes. Yes, I may be a dirty twelve-toed Moonraker from the wilds of Wiltshire but fortunately I steered well clear of the Magic Roundabout ne’er-do-wells.

I imagine Barf would have been a hotbed of scum fans when they were cast out between 1986-96 but whether that has endured I’ve no idea. Bath punted them out of the FA Trophy so I have me doubts.

A bit strange for you to assume that you know everything about what's happening at Rovers.?  Barton mentioned it in an after match interview a few weeks ago, as he was not happy with the pitch.  It doesn't take a genius to see that something's wrong, as the condition is nowhere near as good we've had for the past few seasons.

Rovers were actually regarded very well by the local community in Twerton, who were sorry to see them leave. I've always seen Barf as Rovers territory for this reason.

Rovers were equally sorry to leave, as Twerton was the scene of numerous famous victories over ci*y, including the glorious 3-0 victory that confirmed us as champions of what is now L1. However, the 4-0 hammering will always have a special place in my heart.

I've lived in Yate, Clifton, Horfield, Charlton Hayes/Patchway and now Frampton Cotterell which covers off Winterbourne/Coalpit Health

I can guarantee the only place with a greater Gas support was Horfield and even that was hard to tell

Can’t imagine why, given those three points didn’t prevent us hammering the final nail in the Scum’s relegation coffin later that season as muppet Ian Alexander saw red.

Plus the ghost of 1990 has long been laid to rest, boy, as we won that division while you were getting turned over by such giants of the game as Braintree and Altrincham.

After we thumped you 2-0 at Trashton in the same season? Beadle's second was a thing of beauty.

The last time you won at our place! I had hair then, that’s how long ago that was.

Beadle, whatever became of him…oh yes, he came back to haunt the Rent Boys in a City shirt. Once again, a defeat that essentially cost you your place in the division.

Isn’t it a damn shame your beloved strikers keep defecting to us and making you howl and whine like the little b1tches you are?

We did give you Steve “Flapper” Phillips and Fanny Holes in return though. They were great. ?

You couldn’t find a way of nicking it

Classy - serial ground stealers or would-be ground stealers.

Refined - Porn channel in their clubhouse

Beloved by people around the world - managed by the biggest c*** in football who blames all and sundry when they get ****ed up the a*** by “lesser” teams - most despised outfit in L1.

Deluded Sag is right. ???

No ******* way has it endured apart from in a few non-football attending mutants. My wife's family are from Bath and are City all the way. It has to be said, most Bath residents - as has been noted by yourself - support neither Bristol clubs.

Given your timeline you must be 40-50 years of age and have plenty of time to spend on our forum thinking you’re a right wind-up merchant, presumably in addition to visits to your own forum. I reckon you have too much time on your hands and your missus has ****** off and moved back into her Mum’s house……which also happens to be your Mum’s house too.

Rovers are a club with an identity crisis

On the one hand I've seen their fans make a load of references lately to being the classy club of Bristol

And yet

Henry Winter comes along, calls them the left wing working class Boca Juniors of Bristol and they absolutely lap it up...

Who are ya Rovers??

Have to correct you there mate. Henry Winter did not call them the Boca Juniors of Bristol, that was Wael Al Qadi, their owner responsible for this

Their manager, a very modest man and all round gent, said this (presumably after watching his side get ‘hammered at home’ 2-0 by Boreham Wood)

Thank you.

I shall use a screenshot of this post many, many times in the future when your fans once again show that you are not classy, you’re not refined and nobody loves you.

Any other club I’d assume you were joking but being a Gashead I know your fans genuinely believe these things.

Deluded weirdos. ?

Ah so not the final then, thanks. I knew I wouldn't forget sharing Wembley or the Millennium with the blue quarter. Anyway, I always thought it was old people like me who were supposed to be hankering over the old days.

I guess that's what happens when your recent history is so shit.

? you seem like a child/teenager with these very pathetic attempts at digs. It also wasn't the final was it because you went on to lose that.

"Aw a former player of yours that played for ours celebrated winning". I could throw in how Matty Taylor completely took the piss out of you lot and made much of your fan base cry enough to make death threats and cause destruction to his home.

I know its difficult and not easy to accept being second best for so long on and off the pitch. Still no stadium after chanting that you had one at our place when we turned you over nearly a decade ago.

PS tell your club and fanbase to stop lying about how many you took to Wembley in the conference, your not fooling anyone.

Just out of very vague interest, when was the last time C*ty were mentioned favourably in the Times or any other national newspaper?

Save yourself any more embarrassment, stop clutching at straws.

There have been many articles written about our owner and how he has built up not only BCFC but the rest of the Bristol Sport setup too.

It is a shame your owner can't spend that sort of budget for you but that is just the way things are in life sometimes. These things take money, not just time or cashing in on someone elses misfortune.

FFP dictates how the football will work out for us. If you want to talk about past wins over City it won't end well as there are many people on OTIB with better memories than me who will put you right.

You would be better off spending your time listening to the appeals from help from your club for retired trades people to help out at the ground. Spend your time there instead, turn off the broken hose pipe and get Barton to blow his hot air on the mud. Do something constructive, most smaller clubs only function with volunteer help.

You won't win any arguments on here.
