I mean, on what planet would you be on as a Rovers fan to claim more loyal fans than Bolton, who stuck by their club as the plummeted, Sheffield Wednesday who have been stuck in league one for years. Ipswich get huge gates for league one…Derby, you could go through more teams.

They’re nothing special.

In fairness there are some really big clubs in League one, many with fairlyish recent Premier league experience. Bristol Rovers with their dire recent history and home gates of 7-8 k don’t even come close to them.

They are as delusional as they come. A that is in reality fit for League 2 at best.

They hilariously have no clue how much other teams ****ing despise them because of that repugnant waste of skin in their dugout.

We hated the Gash scum before it was fashionable. :)

The last four Saturdays could hardly have been better scripted from a Bristol City fan’s point of view.

Wonder who DumbBarton will blame today…

Think it would be a good idea if his Mrs stays round her mum's tonight

I reckon he has ruined their reputation - this kind of thing sticks to a club, even after the manager or player leaves.

Some good lines on the Burton forum:

Damn I forgot we were playing Barca.

I saw his autobiography in Poundland! Tells you all you need to know… I wonder when he’s bringing out his updated version.

Oh dear, old Joey's fuming.

Well what a game! Good 3 points and getting one over that loudmouth Scouse thug... fantastic!

Have that Joey you *insert rude word of choice here*

Who on earth would pay to watch Brizzle, eh?

He deserves being badmouthed - just as I said getting his excuses in early. What a plonker.

I'd rather us come up against Fat Steve 46 times a season than encounter that horrible little scouse goblin again.

Absolute prime delusion.

Sheffield Wednesday, Derby, Ipswich, Plymouth, Charlton, Bolton, Pompey, Barnsley, all miles bigger, far better supported clubs, but the local media loves to let them spout this nonsense.

They’ve got quite a tough run-in. It couldn’t happen could it?

Their next 8 games apart from away to oxford and away to forest green they are pretty much playing the top 8.

Looks a tough run when in no form.

Funny enough just looked up their form as it seemed like they had been dicked a lot lately.

LLLLLDL is impressive , away to Oxford, home to Barnsley then away to FGR. Could be an interesting match up , Big Dunc and Big Gob.

I heard that. Found if hilarious that they believe they deserve to win because they watch football in the cold.

Those guys were also very critical of their supporters behind the goal (both of them) chanting for their displaced goalkeeper. Great fans indeed.

I can’t decide whether the Mem looks worse in real life or on camera. Truly blessed that we don’t have to look at that crap every week(not to mention the football on show there)

Joey’s Rover’s future must be hanging by a thread, in fact the only thing that’s probably keeping him in the job is Wally is scared he’ll get a cigar stubbed in his face if he tries to sack him.

I think it may be that he can't actually afford to pay him and his many hangers-on if he sacks him/them, and that the very nice man with the expensive watch is hoping that Joey boy walks away.

Barton isn't stupid though, and I'm pretty sure that with his recent ramblings, he's doing his best to get sacked.

Ahhh they’re finally getting it. He’s dragging them down due to how he is. But the thing that should worry them the most, is he’s so deep rooted that when he goes they’re in real, real deep shit. Their squad is tiny, old, and heavily dependant on loanees.

Their coaching staff & recruitment staff are all his pals, and if rumours are true he banished all academy coaches and players from the first team set up so there’s absolutely no continuity or succession planning.

Wael and Gorridge are clearly massively out of their depth, in Wael’s case not interested, so no chance they have the balls to sack him unless it gets properly nuclear.

They may have some FFP problems on the way. Wael (Hanni) has bet on Joey and approved an overspend on the wage bill. It's roughly a top 10 wage bill so below that is going to be underachievement.

Barton has the hallmarks of a pretty average manager. Pressure is building too. Six defeats in seven games, he needs results fast.

They`ve implemented voter ID. They can only vote if they can produce a season ticket.

Just spotted the option with the most votes is to stick with him even if they get relegated without winning another game. **** me dead.

Isnt this the sort of psychological state that started Scientology?

I’d vote for that if I could.

He’ll destroy them from within. Can’t wait.

Sounds a bit like us with MA.

How many followed him to Ipswich in the end?

It's taken 2-3 years to effect change at the club. 80% of clubs in this division wouldn't have given NP the time, and he would have gone well before now.

Didn't he infer that it was because of the bloke in the crowd who was having a suspected heart attack that they lost?

"We were on top until the enforced break upset our rhythm"

Well it makes a change from it being the ref, the ball boy or the opposition manager & their prehistoric tactics..

Really inconsiderate nearly dying like that, didn’t he realise that they were one nil up against the mighty Burton Albion?
