One can never get tired of these things!

The Sags had their annual Dean Windass get together last night. Holloway was there this time for the cock tugging fest.

What was this? Only asking as a load would have went to a funeral yesterday in Rovers shirts so it could well have been the wake (up the Legion in Kingswood after the funeral)

Looks like Bolton have rested a fair few with the playoffs to come.

Keeper Trafford isn’t playing & top scorer Dion Charles on the bench.

It will be even funnier when Joey Ballbag blows his top when they have lost to what he claims is a far inferior side than they are then.

A team playing the Gas on the last day of the season making loads of changes and resting players

That rings a bell!!!

Fewer will probably win today, and then spend all summer spouting crap about building for next season, and how they're better than a team comfortably in the playoffs.

According to Barton they do well against sides in the top ten, no evidence of that but when have they ever needed evidence.

Eight changes by Bolton who are resting players with play offs in mind according to Sky sports. Yes, certainly reminds us of scunt Thorpe.  Bolton should be deducted points . Come on Notlob .

So as it stands "promotion chasing" Bristol Rovers are 8 points from 4th from bottom and 23 points from 6th place....lot of ground to make up ?

I`m no mathametican but I don`t think there are enough games left now for them to make up the deficit.

The presiding genius guided them to a thrilling 17th place finish.  There's a lot of very capable PE teachers managing in that league, aren't there?

4 clubs immensely above them;

Cheltenham, Burton, Exeter. Fleetwood.

**** me that’s truly pathetic, gained a remarkable 2 points from the last 21 on offer.

Still, summer’s usual mass recruitment of 5 loan players (1 of which joins a higher placed club in January’24) plus some ex Fleetwood Scousers with criminal convictions & poor disciplinary records will see them aim for the heights of 16th in the third tier next season.

You are forgetting the loan player who vanishes without telling Joey he doesn't want to be there anymore.

Top 10 finish at least

£5m for Collins

Belshaw the best keeper outside of the Champ

PL clubs want to send players here as we make them better

Just a highlight of what them, the post and radio Bristol were saying in January.

Barton saying post match it’s a promise they’ll be challenging next season.

Plucky old Rovers with a huge budget, massively ageing squad, with basically none of their own players so no consistency.

They just really don’t get it do they.

I thought you could only have 1 concussion sub, but have to be honest, I don't know for sure.

Confirmed by the Post that they had one concussion sub.

Which still leaves one sub too many, or have I missed something ?

If Bolton also had a concussion sub, then the 15ers would get an extra one too? Not sure of any other reason... ?

Surely a player needs to be concussed before agreeing to join the game wearing a rovers shirt??

Spare a thought please for all the thick Slagheads who were going off in their pants back in August about the ‘gap’ closing and the certain promotion they were going to achieve this year

They were at it again around Christmas.

Well done Sharton, great season ?

Finishing below all those teams you and your deluded, arrogant fans consider inferior ?

I think he might have a point. There are some much bigger teams that they have consistently struggled and taken hammerings against no longer in the division next season.

With Accrington AND Morecambe out of the way I can see the play off chasers mounting yet another serious promotion push.

I must write to the BBC to complain. Their web site says Rovers missed out on the play offs by 24 points, but Joey was certain they were going up so the BBC league table page must be way out of date. Very poor.

If only they`d won eight or nine games more they`d be there.

Cambridge supporters were celebrating on the pitch after their game, having escaped relegation by a single point, ahead of MKD.

Cambridge finished just three places and seven points behind the 15’ers.
