They really never learn do they, how many false dawns? How many times have they had egg on their face? They can’t believe what they write, surely

Whos gonna explain what biting is to him? Don't you have to be annoyed or bitter about something?

Probably thinks they took more that 29k to Wembley too ?

So I take it they haven't released this investment news today to take the emphasis away from the stand debacle?

Honestly, those sad sacks will suck up absolutely anything the fake sheikh tells them...

Pure coincidence

I`ve said this before but they may be a long term art installation by the KLF. A bit like the mice in HHGTTG.

I then think that even the diseased imaginations of Bill Drummond and Jimmy Cauty couldn`t have dreamed up the reality.

How many posts are showing "we can't bare it"? It's been a constant pisstake for those 6 pages, I haven't seen a single post worried about them, it just seems to be the same as last time, they think it's another billionaire coming to take them past us ,and yet we can say with pretty much certainty it isn't.

Basically he`ll turn out to be another asset stripper who`s been sold the project by Wally on the promise of evicting the squatters and selling the swamp for housing.

No doubt he is prowed that he spelled bare correctly. Except of course it should be bear.

I sincerely hope nobody is baring anything around here!

Sags have sussed me out, I can't "bare" it anymore. Once again they will be the richest, most successful team in Bristol. Gotta be honest, it's looking like a new stadium and Premier League within 5 years.

I feel so unlucky...

They’re now talking about how they reckon they’ll fill the fruit market stadium if they get championship football.....??‍♂️ So whilst they can’t even get their temporary stand built they’re now filling an imaginary stadium with pie in the sky numbers with no evidence to back it up. Like us saying we’d fill a 60,000 seater stadium if we got in the Premier league....says who? ??‍♂️??‍♂️

"BRFC is the one club that I most desired to be a part of, due to its great fanbase"

I am surprised he never ended that with "we took over 40,000......."

The great fanbase...... that now have nowhere to sit..!

Pride? Geez. At least they found a remaining stand for him to pose in front of.

Out of shot is a view of back gardens, mud, pi$$ed off neighbours and abandoned ground works.

They might as well plant some veg in the mud for what is left of the summer. A nice herb garden maybe? These things take thyme..... boom boom tiss.

With their track record they’d even struggle to DILLiver a herb garden without a cock up.

More than happy to give them stick when they deserve it and laugh at then when they act like a circus, but credit where it's due for this.

A good message and innovative idea.

Questions do have to be raised over a club employing Barton and Jevani Brown taking any sort of stand over 'inclusivity', however as a thought this is excellent from them

It’s a brilliant video and message, but comes two days after saying they won’t be accommodating disabled fans in the away end for the foreseeable future….doesn’t sit too well with me.

Yep, in isolation is a great concept and message.

But taken in the context of where they are at as a club, and the decisions they've made over the least 12 months, it loses a lot of its meaning

Hollowhead has never liked us and we’ve never liked him but taking rivalry out of it, he’s a great family man who has always looked out for his girls. So this reveal could be a great message, however, as a club that employs Barton and Brown this seems like just another crap PR stunt to deflect from what they really are.

That's the big issue. Everyone should enjoy football regardless of any disability - great message, I'm sure we all support it but in a week where they've made a decision to exclude visiting disabled supporters because of their own actions.....

It's saying what people want to hear whilst doing the opposite.

I met him at a social event once and he was relaxed, humorous, self-depreciating, friendly.  We bantered over a beer, but there was no real dislike. When you live in the Bristol area, you end up with Gas mates, Gas workmates, sometimes Gas relatives. You can joke about it and take the piss, but ultimately, they are just fans of another team: some are nice people, some are utter throbbers - the same mixture as our own fanbase.

It's the club I can't stand - not its supporters, deluded though many of them are.

I can assure DarrellsPupGas that, of the things that keep me awake at night, the Scum being bought by another “wealthy” charlatan ranks an emphatic last on the list.

While they rub their hands (and moisten their pants) in glee at becoming the next Newcastle, back on this planet this is the stark reality for “dA pRIDE oF bRISTOL”.IMG_7433.thumb.jpeg.a17a8b5f61f5da508c7cdfad89b555e1.jpeg

Thanks for the picture Wessex! Next time I'm looking to hire a skip that's one company I absolutely won't use.

The power of advertising eh...?

They haven’t built anything. Did I read (on here probably) that they’re the only club in the league that has never built a new stand on their ground? (It shows!)

True but they have erected more tents than any club in the history of the game.

Yep, fair play to them. Something that has (to my knowledge) never been done before.

Very good point, does feel that they've taken a step forwards due to the shirt, however because of what has happened this week with the Barnsley announcement(s), they took about 50 backwards anyway.

...and then this. A limited run of 250!? Be innovative, be bold, stick it on all of them. Would it really have cost much more to get a bigger quantity done? 50 of each size from s-xxl is your 250 done. What about kids shirts?

In all fairness with the shitshow we've had so far with our kits, we can't say much.

It's a great idea, just could have been executed better (where have we heard that before).
