Do you talk about PL football?  I hope not, because you've never been in it.

No, but I am sure there is more of it shown on TV than any other league. Plus, I don't see any of our fans going to another clubs forum to pretend they do know what they are talking about.

We have several gasheads that post here openly, why do you feel the need to pretend you are a City fan?

Really, you would be better off getting yourself down to the planning office to protest about your missing stand than trying to wind us up.

This tweet made me laugh, even Yate can get their ducks in a row

'Hot Air' is a pretty strong hint. Aside from spelling it out in big, bright blue letters, I'm not sure how it could be clearer?

Oh there’s no doubt who you support, your posts have made that clear. ?

Stating wildly incorrect attendance figures, mocking City for not being in the top flight in the last 30 years when Rovers have never been there, talking about others club size in relation to City when you’re on a par with the likes of Lincoln and Port Vale.

Its just a bit tragic after 3 games of the season really. Still, I suppose it’s exciting for you to be above Exeter and Cheltenham for once.

Science not your strong point either then if you think that gas is hot air :laugh:

Please point out where I claim they are. By using the brains within their head, OTIB posters would proceed from 'hot air' to 'gas'. That's how it works - you refer to something that is similar in the hope that people manage to join the dots.

Good result for Rovers against a decent club.

Of the two, Charlton are the bigger club and are bigger than City, with home attendances in excess of yours last season in a lower league.

Impressive results for BRFC against three teams who will be in the top half of L1, and almost certainly promotion contenders.

A win away against Millwall is also quite impressive, I'll give you that. However, the fact they are play-off contenders reflects badly on the Championship.

How would you know what reflects on the championship . You haven’t been in it for 30+ years . What is it with you lot & attendances ?? is it because you lie about them all the time ?

You'd think the standard of baiting would improve.

Wrong across several points yet still a self righteous tit.

You realise that the 'sheikh' stuff is borderline racist, don't you? Or perhaps you don't?

If Lansdown decided to invest in his local community, he'd be investing in Guernsey.

I dunno; 2015 have been a league club for 8 years, and they are talking about the P.L.

Deluded.

In the 8 years they've been back in the league, they've never needed to rely on the non-payment of players and local creditors to remain a functioning enterprise. Its very endearing how your fanbase have reinvented this as a source of pride rather than embarrassment

‘Borderline racist’ ????

What a melt

Btw Using ‘Hot air’ although appropriate as it’s what you sags specialise in , it doesn’t actually reflect the stench of gas

Hilarious that you don’t lose for a few games and suddenly are on here giving it the big un en route to the Premier League ??

Say what you like about our fan base but almost wholly realistic about football matters whilst you lot become completely deluded ?

You should be grateful that you are a League Club again and can’t get eliminated before Round 1 of the League Cup

Unlike you Sags to get anything wrong

As for Wally , well searching for his contribution.......ahhhhh....to be fair , a business for employing ex-offenders is I guess ......something

JB … was a PL player who was capped by England.

You are correct. In 2007, Barton won his one and only England cap when he came on as a 78th minute sub in the 0-1 defeat by Spain at Old Trafford. A 12 minute England career.

Others have already corrected your erroneous statement. Last night’s  attendance was 12,756 with just 780 away supporters so it would appear that neither their nor your supporters could be bothered to turn up.

They are born in the same City as us, attend the same schools as us, have everything in life that we have. What is it that makes them like this?
There must be some weird paranormal activity going on at Da Mem - as soon as anyone born and bred in our fair city walks into that place they seem to immediately lose all ability to understand facts and basic maths.
What happens to them? It’s a strange phenomenon.

Asshead

Using their flawed logic, and in the same way that we have ‘never been in the Premier League’, have they ever been in The Championship? My memory is a bit misty after so many years but I thought they were bouncing around the lower leagues when the Championship was formed.

If you believe it to be racist or offensive in any way you can report the post and a moderator will review it. Alternatively you could just **** off back to the tented-ish village.

Come on, be fair, 780 travelling fans is pretty impressive for a team which was only recently playing non-league football?

To be fair, JB has bigger fish to fry. He was a PL player who was capped by England. Let's be honest - before he became Rovers manager, he was barely aware of your existence.

To be fair, JB isn’t the only one.

I wasn’t aware of @slartibartfast’s existence until a couple of years ago.

We arranged to meet, however, and whilst I didn’t recognise him at first as he wasn’t wearing his hat, he turned out to be quite a nice chap.

Its funny - when I hear you lot to us as 'tinpot', I only have to think back just over two decades, when the bassist/drummer of Bros (sorry, genuinely can't remember/care), was your chairman. For those less senior, Bros have a strong claim to be one of the worst UK bands of all time, and I was genuinely embarrassed for your club and its fanbase. At the time we were being run by the Dunfords - a solid, decent and unstated chairmanship.

Then you met Steve Lansdown, a leading practitioner of Anglo-Saxon vulture capitalism, and the rest is history.

Gypos? Lovely. Is that allowed to pass on OTIB?

I've already had to educate one of your posters on why repeated use of 'sheikh' in a derogatory way is problematic.

When you genuinely didn’t care about Scott Davidson what was it that you were genuinely embarrassed about in your genuinely not caring mindset?

Also, what does unstated mean in that context?

**** me, ok I'll bite.

Scott Davidson , got to play arenas with one of the biggest bands of the time, played keyboards with Pet Shop Boys too, not a bad resume really . Just because you prefer Rod Hull and Emu doesn't make them any less successful . He made millions from Trade-it and other publications . Not much to be embarrassed for is it, not exactly getting relegated from the League by a team wearing your shirts is it ?

Steve Lansdown started his business in his bedroom I believe , It sells funds and shares and related products to retail investors so not sure how he's a vulture. Made a business , built the business, sold the business for an insane amount of money.

Be interested to know what you think of your owner, was it your shoulders he was on, going down Gloucester Road ?
Now THAT was embarrassing .

Scott Davidson was our Chairman once.
I mean that sort of embarrassment is right up there with getting relegated from the Football League by a club wearing your kit, no?

I'm wondering what attracts Lansdown to Guernsey? Is it the beautiful air or the tax avoidance possibilities? You were certainly a tinpot club when you were run by the former drummer in Bros (remember the mascot fight against Wolves?), but at least you had a bit of character and weren't so closely wrapped up with vulture capitalism.
