Interesting stat after 39 games for both City and the Gas

Rovers Played 39 won 14 drawn 8 lost 17- points 50

City Played 39 won 14 drawn 8 lost 17 - points 50 !!

Now that’s a bit weird !!!

Just a pity for 2015 that we are an entire league above them.

Shows how times have changed.

I've met mates in the pub at 9:30 , (OK that hasn't changed that much ) gone to the game, few beers after , home with the Mrs and a take away and only now at 9pm have I thought to look to see how that lot have got on .

They are insignificant !

That said 2-0 ha ha ha ha ha ha

Yeah its of a shame that they always bang on about their supposedly MASSIVE away support isn’t it? 🤣

75 at Fleetwood, 300 at Lincoln, this shit turnout yesterday. The away support that, apparently, is the “envy of most clubs in L1” according to sags 🤣

Deluded idiots.

Luton, Fulham, Brentford, Wigan, Charlton and Barnsley; Championship clubs so much smaller than R*v*rs that they are not even in the Championship. Only five on his list of eleven Championship clubs are in the Championship. A great effort though. He must be prowed.

R*v*rs have been in the Championship in the (distant) past, they are a lot smaller than they were.

🤣

They should study Rotherham, much more like them. Similar size club.

Problem is this league they haven’t been in for 30 years is absolutely brutal, “small” clubs like those this joker quotes have decent players & money they can only dream about.

Rotherham did incredibly well to survive for the first time in six seasons last year, however they are getting hammered every week in their second season & on their way back down.

Despite the local media false equivalence, Rovers are slowly dying, a ground that is shit, can’t afford to refurbish it, ageing fanbase that has no hope of getting the next generation of Bristolians to watch them.

A slow death that I will really enjoy watching.

Even a club like Plymouth coming up automatically with quality and momentum have really started to struggle.

Imagine if ragtag Rovers sneaked in fluckily through the play offs one year with a squad like theirs at the moment. They wouldn't have the first clue how to compete and I could see a record low points total

Of all the clubs that I can remember being in the Championship over the last few decades, the only ones that Rovers could possibly claim to be any bigger than would be Yeovil, Burton & possibly Wycombe.

Plymouth are a far bigger club.

Huge catchment area, actual Championship standard ground & away support that unlike their myths, is very impressive.

It is instructive that as you say, they are now seeing how hard it is & are in a real dogfight with the likes of Birmingham & Wednesday to stay up.

Totally agree. I've been saying this for years and years, there is absolutely no point in the GAS getting promoted to the Championship. As Graham C pointed out this division is brutal, and they would get battered week in week out and would most definitely beat the lowest record ever of 23 points by Rotherham. Saying that though it would be bloody funny  seeing that happen and them frothing at the mouth with each loss.

A record crowd for the National League South, for Yeovil's 3-0 win over Torquay... 6,462 in attendance

That puts Rovers attendances into perspective

That “BlueButterfly” w*nkstain responsible for that screed of utter delusion made an unwelcome visit to this forum a few seasons ago. He was dribbling similar shyte that was completely detached from reality and was suitably derided, causing him to follow his moth brethren to the Eastville flame home.

I think we heard you the first time😂😂😂😂😂

It's also worth noting that every club listed (bar Luton 300 less, but all seated and not reliant on terraces) has a significantly bigger ground as well as better team than them

Just watched the highlights, only twice was the ball in the PV half, at the start of a PV attack......it must have been bad as there's normally one noteworthy hoof over the goal line or weak header or kick included to show some semblance of non-bias

Wrong guy mate.

He/she was actually questioning the original statement suggesting they are bigger than “a few” Championship clubs so it’s not ‘BlueButterfly’ who is the deluded one.

I'll have you know POH that that is what's commonly known as a "large contingent from bristol rovers"

Amazingly, I haven't seen any evidence or statements from any of their wet brained amoebas banging on about the obvious massive support at Vale Park.

Argyle are streets ahead in size and fanbase to the deluded few. I've said on many occasions that until they realise and accept where they are in that they are a small lower league club they will never get anywhere. They never will, its what they do.
