A bloke here at my hotel in Barbados is good friends with Steve Walsh. Says you’ll never see team togetherness like under NP. He’s got a number of people he trusts immensely. He needs time and I’m sure we’ll be scrapping up near the top.

@RedM Janneh is getting many mentions on RB. Seems to be seeing a fair bit of the ball, but isn't quite able to get past the FGR LB. Fair assessment?

At least he has been driving it forward. Good strong goal. Looks keen, but sometimes too keen, should use his head to think with a bit, lots overhit. But yes, he is a bright spark

Expected more from the more experienced players. There is supposedly millions of pounds worth of talent out there and we are largely being outplayed by Forest Green who are running rings around us. Where is our midfield?

I guess even if Williams is out for a long time and Nagy leaves then we still have James, King, Massengo and Bakinson. Not terrible but not sure if we'd need to think about bringing in a new one on loan. Or I guess it might make Nagy leaving less likely.

What's Williams injury looking bad ?

Be honest, this is just another opportunity to tell the forum you're in Barbados, isn't it? :innocent06:

So better bring in a new midfielder if Nagy is sold. Awful news on Williams if it's serious

Williams looked frustrated walking off, hard to explain but he was pulling at his shirt in frustration. I hope I'm wrong but it looked like a 'not again' gesture from him

Meant to be ok for weekend

Aye,  the OP just said 2 midfielders out injured, and didn't mention return dates so I was just guessing it was O'Dowda as I can't think of anyone else injured during the season

Was it a thigh injury that had Williams sidelined for so long? He hasn’t pulled his thigh again has he?

well they mentioned looking at the thigh and calf in the commentary, but who knows, the fact he went off so quickly would suggest it quite possibly is the same injury.. Who knows

No. We’re supposed to give the first manager we’ve had in donkeys years with proven credentials at this level, the time he needs to build a team, recognise that doesn’t happen overnight, and act like grown ups by showing a little patience in the meantime. Not throw our toys out of the pram with every little setback.

Post of the season on 10th August?! Nice! ??
