Slightly unfashionable but I think he could play as a sweeper in front of a back 3/4. Don’t think he’s good enough at centre back and as for right back Jesus so if he is going to play then maybe,as said above tho Jack hunt is a far superior player Quote Link to comment

The Original OTIB
5 players below par, hardly a Pearson team performance. Palmer & Weiman should get hooked, Massengo & Scott wide, Wells up top with Martin. Quote Link to comment

Davefevs
Goal not good....two players could've come across to help Vyner, we had 4 marking two in the box, plus James who could've done better to support Vyner (show Jones inside). Quote Link to comment
Sleepy1968
Crikey. Just read the last couple of pages of comments - agree with the consenus. The most damning thing I can think to say is that we're none the wiser as to how good (or bad) Boro are as we've presented them with absolutely no opposition. Quote Link to comment

It's hardly James fault that Vyner doesn't show him inside, he was the to help him yet Vyner still shows him the only way that creates any danger. Defending that would be seen as poor in League 2. Haven't been able to get enough players on the ball. Palmer been very sloppy, allowing Spence to get toe in too often. Vyner poor too. Needs to give Jones a good whack. Boro sitting deep, but we are playing straight balls, which leave the receiver with no real option, need to change our passing lines. Symptomatic of last seasons performances. I feel a little bit sorry for Alex Scott. Quote Link to comment

Other could definitely have done better, but very poor from Vyner. Quote Link to comment

The Original OTIB
Boro have lost 2 strikers, are depleted overall yet can still fashion chances, because they have intent to get the ball and bodies in the box. Rocket science, it ain't. Quote Link to comment

Spike
Atkinson will be gone next season, you can see he's very much a Webster quality player who will only get better and with our complete lack of quality he'll be sold to make more funds. Quote Link to comment

Last season’s tombola selections did him no favours confidence-wise. Simpson might have nous, but just too slow now. And I think most views on the forum about Jack Hunt last season were hardly glowing. Perhaps time to find some cash for a new right back. 1 Quote Link to comment
