But I think the chap sat down is Gordon Parr and the last one could be Donnie Gillies. I'd like someone to confirm though. Great to see AD looking so well. Edit by sat down I meant the guy in the leather coat. Edited October 16, 2021 by CodeRed

RoystonFoote'snephew
It was a great night. The players present were: Gordon Parr, Jantzen Derrick, Mike Gibson, Gerry Sweeney, Sir Geoff Merrick, Tom Ritchie, Paul Cheesley, Trevor Tainton, Clive Whitehead, Mickey Tanner, Alan Walsh, Scotty Murray and (gatecrasher) David Mogg who was not in the book. Alan Dicks, Marina Dolman, Phil Tottle, and Nigel Turner were also present alongside author Richard Latham. Definitely Tainton with Sir Geoffrey, I find myself getting pretty emotional at that photo & also the one of the Sween & TV Tom. Bloody legends, I should say so..

I think we've identified everyone else ( except the barmaid).

Yes it is Whitehead - shaved his tache off but his accent gave the game away! Got to shake Sir Geoff by the hand last night. Bloody marvellous. Latham got quite emotional when mentioning Coops too.

Hamdon Mart
Fantastic evening at the Gate supporting Richard's book which has had more postponements than Airdrie v Stranraer (1963 Scottish Cup tie)....not quite but the evening was definitely a triumph for persistence. As a lapsed Yeovil fan, it was great to see Tom Ritchie (and his brother), Geoff Merrick, Paul Cheesley, Scott Murray, Clive Whtehead and Mickey Tanner who all featured in the green & white of YTFC at one time or another, ar Whitehead who was our manager briefly. But as a football fan, it was simply majestic to meet some true greats of the Bristol game who, to a man, were polite, friendly and more than happy to sign books, pose for pictures and talk about the good ol' days.
