Simon bristol
You are all cynical, their proposal to host the world cup was the best by far, and wasnt awarded due to any corruption or shady dealings.

pillred
Wouldn't surprise me if this wasn't used as an excuse for a permanent winter break in this country, some clubs have been trying to get it brought in for years this is the perfect excuse to make it permanent. Never to the dark side
I think the three EFL leagues will be the same as during the Internathional break No prem games no championship games with the 1st and 2nd divisions allowed to call off games if they have Internathional players in the squad

Harry
Rugby carries on when internationals are out. Maybe it’s time football did the same and clubs understood that’s the risk they take when they sign players who are internationals. ?

robin_unreliant
Does this mean no international breaks up until November? To be fair I'd rather have one long break like this than having multiple blank weekends in the autumn. It's frustrating to repeatedly interrupt the league, then cram in loads of mid-week games to catch up.
