He is brave, he is competitive, he is Mr 100 %........but he is always injured.  That is what I mean by what is the point of Baker?  I think he is great, but if he is never on the pitch, what is the point?

Keep digging mate, how can you legislate for head injuries?? It could have been anyone off for that injury and you would have said nothing.

Taking the piss out of a man who is unconscious, and it could well be very serious.  Classy

You are right, of course ,although we’ve seen these moments often with the player.I don’t wish him any harm.

You would think that with all Baker’s experience he would have learned to avoid these types of injury.
He is too often injured and going off before the match is finished.

He is no good to himself or the club if he is consistently  unavailable .

Bollocks, leave it out.

For Christ sake,  get bakinson off.

Just watching him lazily sauntering round the pitch is driving me mad.

I don't care if O'Leary has to come on for him.

Saunter and lollop. Two words I wouldn’t be pleased with as my primary verbs if I were a footballer.

If I was Bakes I'd be seriously considering all my injuries and the impact on to my long term health.

I wish the bloke well.

I sort of get what you are saying. But a non commited/full throttle baker is no good to anyone. Baker is a top championship defender because he puts his body on the line to defend. Take that away he is a fairly limited footballer.

Out of order. The fact you can’t control your anger because we are losing and have chosen to have a pop at a player who has been sparked out is totally pathetic and childish on your part. Supporter? My arse.

Calm down.........I think if anger is the issue, you should take a look at your comment.  I was unaware of the level of the injury, as I cannot watch us today.  However as i have posted elsewhere, if you care to look?  I rate Baker as a brave competitive 100% footballer, but due to his way of playing, he is always injured?  That is what I mean by the "point of `Baker "  Anyhow I wish him well, but we all know when he comes back...he will almost certainly get injured again?

Massengo been well off the pace in particular today.

I think Sheff have just been too good for him. He's closing them down but they are good enough to just pass it away before he can tackle or harry them. Bakinson stays static and so HNM's pressing is detrimental as it creates huge spaces and gaps in midfield. They're not operating in tandem, as a partnership.

Avoid getting knocked out when going for a header?!

He plays the game at 100% and is always committed. I would much rather that than someone pulling out of challenges and headers because they don’t fancy it.

The fact that he has long term injury issues is the only reason he plays for us.

He has the ability to play at a higher level but because he is forced to miss so many games means we get to have him.

He is an outstanding player for us and well worth keeping hold of.

We are lucky to have him.

What has it come to on this forum where people are mocking one of our own players for getting a serious injury on the pitch? We all know Baker has had history with injuries but he's also someone who will get stuck in and not shirk and challenge; which is clearly what has happened just now.

Seriously mate, watch closer. Doing the work of 2 players today.

I have been watching. They have all been poor but he has given away too many fouls today and given the ball away for free. Love the guy but been pretty crap today

Spot on. His unusually high proportion of head/ facial injuries is due to the fact that, almost uniquely in this squad, he’s always prepared to stick his head in.

If anyone is watching Bakinson off the ball they will see what a disgrace he is.

He should be nowhere near this team.

People were actually saying he is improving. They just don’t know anything about football.

If he is the answer we are in big trouble

It really is incredible to watch him. We really are playing with 10men

There’s a difference between a tweaked hamstring and being knocked unconscious @maxjakyou worm

I did not see the incident...and i apologise if i offended you.  I assumed it was yet another injury in    the long line of ~Baker injuries......which was obviously a mistake.  However I wish him a happy recovery?  Don't you think Worm is a little personal from someone who spends his days bouncing?
