Overall disheartening with the final result, but it’s becoming such a joy to watch City again.

We play some really nice attacking football at times, we have some superb youngsters coming through, and have some really likeable players.

We have progressed so far over the past year and a half under Nige. Eventually it’ll all click, with a good couple of recruits next Summer I think we could be a dark horse next summer.

I am proud today to be a City fan, even if we didn’t get 3 points.

Character building isn’t it supporting City?,! We really, really didn’t deserve to draw that.  Excellent performance and a hugely disappointing result. So many great performances personally thought H-NM was MothM.

If only we had converted the great chances we created when ahead, the game would have been sewn-up at half time.

Special shout out to the traveling fans. It’s going to be a long and miserable journey home.

NP is getting a team together, we looked very good again throughout the game today.

I'm not sure the character building is worth the year it takes off your life every time you watch us. I don't want to be a strong character in a wooden box.

Get these silly mistakes out of system in a season when points don't really matter!

But if we have the same personnel in defence next season how can we be confident they won't carry on chucking goals away?

As Nigel said after Luton, we can't go on having to score at least 2 goals every game to get anything. Yet days later here we are again. I despair.

Weimann and Pring both making mistakes on the break. Another really good performance considering what we were seeing maybe 2-3 months ago at home and away when everyone was calling for the manager's head.

At least it is individual mistakes that are costing us and not the style or lack of effort on the pitch.

It may seem like two points dropped but you can't say we didn't go for it.

I am really enjoying this team run their socks off and they will learn from these mistakes.

Pring has been one of our best players this season.

Don’t you dare group him with Vyner!

Oh believe me, i think hes way better than Vyner! Just dont think either are good enough to be regulars in the championship.

Being one of our better players this season isn’t saying a great deal either, lets be honest!

Jeez…….yet another late, late goal conceded…….. how many is that now? Must at least 7 or 8.

Goals conceded after 75 minutes that cost points this season (today doesn’t count as we also scored our second beyond 75 minutes)

Home to Blackpool - 2 points

Away to Forest Green Rovers - meaning a penalty shoot out which we lost 6-5

Home to Luton - 2 points

Away to QPR + 2 points

Home to Fulham + 1 point

Away at Peterborough + 2 points

Home to Forest - 3 points

Away to Coventry - 1 point

Home to Blackburn - 2 points

Away to Hull - 0 points (both teams scored beyond 75 minutes)

Home to QPR - 1 point

Home to Millwall +2 points

Really? I get that’s an angry post, but how much Championship football has he played? You can see why he did what he did, on the run, pitch opening up, chance for glory if he’d have spanked that in the top corner. He’ll learn from this, you make mistakes in this division and you get punished.

Yeah, good God. That was our best performance by a counrty mile all season, and whilst we should have scored 3 or 4 more goals and made a silly mistake which lead to the second equalisaer (I didn't see their first), just all calm down. We are building something.

Exactly, shock horror footballer makes mistake and it’s an OTIB pile on. He hasn’t played that much Championship football, he shows signs of being a very good player at this level and can develop further/learn from his mistakes.

We're certainly building a midfield and attack to excite. In defence we are yet to dig the foundations. Let's hope Tanner and Atkinson turn out to be as good as the younger players elsewhere in the team.

Yeah good performance and all that but it’s so deflating having to go through that inevitability every week.

Its not every week, and we have some truly great young players and a manager who can manage; I now firmly believe we will kick some butt in this div next season

Not sure zonal marking comes into it when it’s open play?

90+5 minutes with a 1 goal lead = do not stand off the opposition. Get touch tight and restrict their ability to get a clean strike on the ball.

Our defenders are stood off him too far for my liking, allowing him the chance to pivot and shoot.

Well executed goal, but someone should have been within farting distance of him to prevent it.

I wasn’t able to see all the match and when I returned I saw a Desmond and thought , great result away at our bogey team.

Then I come onto OTIB and people are moaning again.

Ok, it is disappointing to have ‘ thrown away ‘ two points , yet again in the dying embers of the match but I was thrilled by our football in the first half. This team is going to get better and better.

The fight, the snapping into tackles, moving the ball forward quickly, shots on and off target and no little skill from Martin, Dasilva, Scott, Semenyo to name four.

This is a team that we can and bloody well should get behind. They give their all for the shirt and we are definitely, one hundred per cent at the start of a wonderful footballing journey.

Appreciate it.

We won't go down so 2 points won't matter that much.  But in the perspective of playing nice football and Massengo and Semenyo being more than great today, I feel sad. I feel sad for the poor Massengo and Semenyo who ran 2 times more than other players today, doing defensive duties and attack duties in an instant.

We had a good game overall, second half  we let them too much to play around our box and we gave up possesion but Pring should have go into the corner with the ball. He made our players push for an attack and that created spaces for them and our deffence was caught off guard due to that thing.

It is a kinda fair result, I think we deserved a bit more to win than our opponents but I am pleased with the way City played. We need to build a team for our future, some points this season doesn't matter, personally I think about our next season more. But even so, it was a frustrating  goal to watch and felt a bit unfair because we tried to score the 3rd one not to waste time.

COYR !

Yes Pring should've passed or gone to the corner, but the game should've been over way before then by taking our chances. Can clearly see improvement, Scott & Massengo brilliant, need to built the team around them and Williams. Would rather play well and concede 95th minute that have to watch the terrible football we played not too long ago

Naive at the end - but overall what a thoroughly enjoyable performance. Lessons learned from today will put us in good stead for next year. Keep HNM, Antoine Scott Pring with a fit Joe Williams and who knows where we could be next season. Building very nicely.

We're playing some very good football at the moment. When was the last time we could say that?

Consistency will come, but as everyone says, it's a rebuild project.  Pearson didn't come here to just paper over the cracks.  He has a 'Grand Design'.

I'm sure Nigel will say much the same but our defenders don't seem to be listening to him. Groundhog day.

The issue is not which player to blame this time it's that somebody will inevitably do it. No idea how we fix that if multiple players are at fault over multiple games.

Shame for pring to make that mistake, had a great game with a fantastic team performance.

HNM was real class today, along with scott and Semenyo  what a future team we have if we can keep them.

Thought Weimenn had a poor game and missed a sitter.

Not sure where 5 minutes added time came from, but guess ref along with denying penalties wanted to give PNE all the help he could

That’s not zonal marking, they just haven’t reacted quick enough

Yeah I think that’s a fair assessment. But my god give me that in comparison to where we have been over the last couple of years and more and the young players are coming on leaps and bounds  .  If we can build that defence then we really can start to look upwards.

1st minute, 0-0 do exactly that, but matters not what minute or scoreline is City as City haven't been able to do so since the likes of Orr left.

Marking vacant space in open play (rather than being touch tight) is basically the same as zonally marking from a set piece. You're banking too much (for my liking) on the ball falling into the area you are occupying, rather than making life as difficult as possible for the opposition.

If we're going to attribute this to poor/sluggish reactions then you'd have to say that whoever is defensively coaching us is using a very naive approach, particularly when you consider how young our squad is.

Disappointed that we conceded late but we were going for a third when it happened , not friggin about in our own half  trying to hold on and hoping that nothing would happen. That's the difference now, we are still trying to score even when we are leading. Don't knock it.

First half display fantastic, should we have been 2 up? Yes. Andi would normally knock in 9/10 of those. Great effort, especially from the young uns and Klose looking class always looking for the ball from Max.

Easy to critisize Pring but he had a great game.

We’re now playing at a different level and the futures looking bright.

Agreed, there has been a huge improvement in the attacking football we play. Just frustrating that the attacking players are not getting the reward in terms of points they deserve.

Generally played very well, missed to many chances, should have killed the game off. Goalkeeper and a mistake at the end cost us two points. Should have had a penalty. Sounds familiar, not sure if Nigel is looking forward to saying the same things again and again in his post match interview. Indeed i think he will give it to someone else to do. On to the next one at Blackpool.
