I know we played well yesterday, but watching the lack of quality in this game compared to us is like chalk and cheese.

What a horrible, cynical side Birmingham are.

Never guess Lee Bowyer was their manager, would you?

Can they both lose? I still can't forgive us not relegating Brum on the last day of the season three or four seasons back.

Weren't the players doing Cotts a favour?

Remember Joe Bryan being unable to clear the first man with his crosses every time he tried. Very suspicious.

Offside and high boot - but what a goal!

We'd have been flagged and penalised for the boot :)

Doesn't make me feel better about our result yesterday, but you've got love a doomed team sticking one on Brum.

Hopefully Forest will spank Cardiff later. (Another game I'd ordinarily want both teams to lose :) )

If they survive administration, I reckon Derby will stay up…only 7 points from safety now and with a zero GD that’s worth a point on all the teams around them.

Fair shout Derby fans backing their club. Huge crowd

and backing Wayne. I think opting not to go for the Everton job , has certainly raised his profile amongst the Derby fans  Seems to have committed his heart & soul to a club with which he had no previous connection.

Forest don`t seem at the races today.

They seem to have thought all they needed to do was to turn up. Guess they hadn't really considered Hugnill in their planning.

I still expect them to win after getting the proverbial rocket at half time.

Earnshaw did spend 3 years at Forest as well to be fair.

He’s Welsh though, isn’t he?

Forest have been awful, you know what Cardiff are about, loads of effort, not much skill but they look so weak.

Sums up Caerdydd to a tee

Championship LIVE: Cardiff City v Nottingham Forest score & updates - Live - BBC Sport

Fits like a glove

Cardiff City 2-0 Nottingham Forest

Michael Pearlman

BBC Sport Wales at the Cardiff City Stadium

Jordan Hugill looks like he should have always played for Cardiff.

All effort, elbows, flick-ons and headers, he is very much a Cardiff-type player.

The new players really have given Cardiff a big, big lift.

Tommy Doyle's set-pieces are going to be a problem for defences.
