They love Dyche, there’s even a pub named after him near to Turf Moor. As others have said, the sacking is really bad timing - when they were relegated from the PL last time he brought them straight up. No reason to suppose that he couldn’t do the same should they get relegated again. Tragedy was that he had to sell his main striker in Chris Woods and that left them very lightweight up top. I think it’s a real shame but should Nige walk away I’d love to see Dyche manage us.

Major Isewater
Dyche did a fantastic job at Burnley but all good things come to an end and I believe he had run his course in Lancashire. Will be interesting to see where he rolls up next.He will probably be hoping for a slightly easier gig than the perennial struggles of a Burnley type club who have been fighting way above there weight for sometime. Could he find his way to Everton perhaps ?

Sir Geoff
Strange decision, seeing that they have been on the brink all season. Way too late to save them now. We made the naive mistake of buying in three players from an excellent Chesterfield team , Mercer, Holland and Dyche who had overperformed and , more poignantly, overplayed the previous season. They all arrived carrying injuries and despite their quality and the logic of our transfer policy, as this is City, it all went chest up.
