Brentford will wear the same home shirt again next season, fair play to them

Sustainability may make this normal. Don't Exeter do that?

Would love it to be similar to either our promotion shirt or the pinstripe one.

Which promotion shirt?

Apparently that’s why Jon’s been so quiet, it’s been his project

Apparently it’s a ‘unique design’ with his ‘Vision’

God help us if that's true....

Although it's a good gesture, it's far easier to turn down income streams when you benefit from Premier league payments & I doubt that Brentford sell a particularly high number of replica shirts, so I doubt that it has much impact on their overall revenue.

Clubs outside the ptrm depend on these revenues and the bigger clubs sell 100.000's/millions of shirts, so it's far more substantial income that you're talking about.

It's a fairly easy gesture for a club in Brentfords position.

Oh Gawd. I hoped for some class and style

I'm hearing he has a fav colour. I can't say untill all is revealed but it's certainly going to split opinions! I'm hoping someone is winding me up if I'm honest. For the record I don't expect this colour to be used for home or away, but other shirts may not be safe!

Same colour as his y-fronts probably (brown shirts, cream shorts)

I really enjoy the “I know something you don’t know” posts.

Either just share what you know/been told or say nothing?

Hopefully we’ll find out later tonight anyway

Oh, come on…if you don’t use the ? emoji, are you even on OTIB! ???

 #sustainability and football, what a joke.

You could keep the same shirt for ten years and still not even close to be offsetting the environmental impacts of flying from London to Manchester for matches every week.

Guessing that will be the away kit.

Rumoured to be the home kit being revealed today.

I going to take a guess at Rinomhota wearing it.

Don’t you effing dare! ????

One of the replies to the original tweet with the traffic light emoji, suggests Red home kit, Yellow away kit and Lime green third kit!

Some good logic applied there.

The person who tweeted that is a very smart guy ?

Would be interesting to know how many more keepers shirts they’ve sold in the last few years to before

Yepp, I've been thinking this. I imagine there's good business logic behind the bold goalkeeper designs too - probably sell a hell of a lot more than you would otherwise.

They aren't as bad as I feared, and I would have thought that kids will love them and have them on various 'want' lists.

Regardless of the design, I am never likely to be their target market, so whatever I think is pretty irrelevant.

My kids take the piss because I bought the red Hummel zip-up…no way I’d get over wearing a keeper’s top!
