I'm surprised that a L1 or L2 club didn't pick him up after the left Grimsby. His agent must have done well to get him a trial at Brimingham after that. Given Birmingham's financial issues, and a ground that is half shut for safety issues; i'm surprised they would the money to get that application over the line. Looks like they're just going to lose Bellingham's brother Jobe , for next to nothing as well. The costs don’t get included in FFP, so as long as your owner is prepared to meet those costs there is no issue FFP-wise. IF we can get Category 1 I say go for it but sounds like there are a few hurdles to jump through. We have already produced players both with a good impact on the pitch and subsequently off it (the fees for academy products). Seems a pretty good idea if possible IMO.
