Good man. Me too.

Slight side note. Mane should win the ballon d'or if Liverpool win tonight. But he won't. But he should. Insult that Salah was 7th last year but this year, mane would have won the AFCON and they qualified for the world cup, and was 1 point away from a Quadruple with his club (if they win this evening). Even if they don't win, I still think he should get it.

Am I right in saying it's being aired for free tonight on BT Sport?

If so how can I watch it? I neither have BT Sport or am very good with technology.

If a virgin media customer should be free access on bt sports channel 527 for the duration of the match only.

Strange when many of them don't identify themselves as English, isn't it?

There’s history there, for another thread probably.

To me, the clubs English, with a decent amount of English players who will benefit from more European success.

We like to think of it more like a anti plastic fan wank fest . Hala madrid fuck the West Country glory fans .

It’s funny, I live 150+ miles from Bristol. Get to home games once in a blue moon because I still play. Make the occasional away games because we rarely sell out.

if we suddenly became world beaters in the next 5 years I’d probably be considered a plastic ?‍♂️

Support an English club whose supporters boo the national anthem?  Thanks, but no thanks.

in 1985, 39 football supporters were killed at the European Cup final between Liverpool FC and Juventus at the Heysel Stadium in Brussels, Belgium. A wall collapsed as Juventus fans were trying to escape Liverpool fans who surged into their area an hour before kick-off; in

From The Times: On this day.

Will be interesting to see how many of the Bristolian Liverpool supporters made the trip or are they watching from the comfort of their living rooms jacking off over klopps pearly whites, think we all want the English club to win tho unless you are a Bristolian Everton or Man U “supporter

Your situation is completely different as you obviously have ties to Bristol . What all of us that hate Liverpool on here are disliking is the people born and raised in the West Country but support Liverpool instead or as well as city . You never meet anyone born and raised down south who support Grimsby or Carlisle so it’s purely a glory /plastic fan thing to support Liverpool / united .

Put your tin hat on mate, you are correct but they don’t want to hear it so it’s anti Liverpool when we say the same the same thing about other big clubs (I was accused of being a Man U fan dispite only having been to Manchester once in the cup game following city)

Always prefer the English clubs to do well in Europe, and the fact it'll wind up all the "NO ACKTUALLY YOU'RE ONLY ALLOWED TO SUPPORT THESE TEAMS FOR THESE REASONS THAT ONLY EXIST IN MY HEAD WAAAAH" crew on here is just the icing on the cake.

Exactly. We're Bristol City fans, does it really matter if any of us want an English side to win a European cup?

I really don't care about the local glory hunters, they never bother me as long as they don't disrespect people for supporting their local club

Yeah same. Maybe I'm just used to it as at school it was me, one Yeovil fan, then all Man U.

I took half a dozen "plastics" from work to Ashton gate to watch Palace in the cup the other year and they had a great time. Who cares!

Unless you have a family member who supports a random club or local team and they take you it's very easy to get sucked into success especially as a child. It's just the way it is, City need to be more successful to make kids and randomers take an interest in the club unfortunately

I really don't care about European Football, unless it's someone new. I want Liverpool (and Man U come to that) to lose every week.

But.

I usually want the English team to do well.
I have a £1 free bet on the game tonight.
It could be a good game of football.
Liverpool don't identify as English.
Don't care, Fuckem !

That said, I'm off to Urban Tandoor later, so in that respect, I'm looking forward to tonight .

If it was Bristol City v Liverpool/Real Madrid, we all know where our loyalties would be.

Let those that have a second team in the final enjoy it, we are all City first.

I'm just hoping the best team wins and it's an entertaining game.

Hahaha oh how the misguided shout! Ever been to Madrid? You'd struggle to find many owning up to being Real fans. It don't just happen in UK

Whose fans consider themselves Scouse not English. Agreed and no thanks as well.

Sorry, but I have lived in Merseyside for 30 years and know loads of Liverpool fans. Never met one who peddled this ‘Scouse not English’ nonsense. Many prefer Liverpool to England, but then I would rather see City win than England.

Maybe it’s a separation thing. The further from Liverpool they live the more ‘Scouse’ they get. Almost like the further away you get, the better it is in your mind. Also, bear in mind the kind of twonks that ring up Radio Stations like that Herbert who is always on Radio Bris after matches ??.

My wife is from Liverpool and, when asked where she is from is always very careful to say she’s a “Liverpudlian, NOT Scouse”.

Which bit is "nasty"? 2 out of 3 are facts.

Well Philip is dead stating it just has a pop at a 96 year old widow.  Calling her senile is nasty and calling Andrew a pedophile is also incorrect.  Just has a pop and is again having a go at a little old lady's son.

Andrew is a sex offender that never got charged and paid off his victim not a pedophile.
