internetjef
Evening all. does anyone reckon this 3pm Sat home game might get bumped onto the Sunday lunchtime either for TV or policing reasons ? or would we have been told by now if so? trying to plan something that weekend and don’t want to clash the fixture
Northern Red
TV games have been picked for that weekend so that won't come into it. Police may yet have a say.
BUTOR
As above police may intervene but last seasons home fixture was played on a Friday night and previously it has been Saturday’s for as long as I can recall so don’t think it’s seen as particularly high risk. For some reason the police don’t appear to see the home fixture as high risk though. I mean a Friday night ffs.
Mr Popodopolous
Could also move to still Saturday but 1pm or similar of course- happened in 2007 and 2010 iirc. I don't remember any home games v Swansea on a Sunday in my time. Edited September 12, 2022 by Mr Popodopolous
Wanderingred
I actually had the same question regarding the Millwall game. It’s too late to change the date for sky right, the only thing that could happen is the police change the kickoff time?
Club and Country
Swansea always get favourable kick off times over here, it’s us who get shafted for the return game
internetjef
Thanks guys. With TV games announced already , and no firm track record of police rescheduling I will plan as if it stays at 3pm Sat then

But that was after what happened over there earlier in the season

Yes there was the Friday night game post Covid but that aside...
Rossi the Robin
Lack of 3pm home Saturday fixtures this season- I missed the first game due to holiday so don’t think I’ve had one yet

redkev
Over the last few years I feel there is more needle with us and Swansea than there is with Cardiff or millwall

Mr Popodopolous
I remember the odd 1pm on a Saturday but not 12pm for this particular one. Midday last season of course, at their ground.

We did however play Cardiff at home, early in 2000 at midday on a Sunday the final game of Pulis! lager loud
That’s a small shame, as I today booked my COVID booster jab for 10.50 in Yate on that Saturday. Mrs Loud will have to put her foot down to drive me to the game on time. On the other hand, post-match beers starting around 2.30! Every cloud…

Northern Red
This is now listed as being shown on the Sky red button. Which means it'll be on Robins TV for UK viewers too.
