Admin phantom Posted October 22, 2022 Admin Share Posted October 22, 2022 Some fantastic news for us all about referee Trevor Kettle. Amazingly he’s just been appointed as refereeing supremo in India. He’s in charge of professionalisation & development for the All India Federation (AIFF). It means we don't see him in the English leagues again 1 2

Port Said Red
He might have better luck forcing people into a corner than the Indian authorities......
Marvin
When they realise his standard of refereeing, will he be in hot water?
Bat Fastard
I wonder if he will explain to Indian referees that Bristol City should never be awarded a penalty?

It means we don't see him in the English leagues again That’s a real blessing. He’s in the top two of the worst referees that I can remember in the last 15+ years. Keith Stroud is the other………..…….. Hamdon Mart
The last match he officiated on UK soil was a charity match at Huish Park in aid of the Adam Stansfield Foundation back in the summer. Turned up, was exemplary on the day and joined in with the humorous side of things eg, Adam Stansfield's middle son was "allowed" to score but the keeper saved it in and Kettle gave a penalty & booked the keeper!! Allowed himself to be sent off by one of the players when he dropped his whistle near the end of the match. He was bad at times but Stroud is on a different planet IMO.
