Popular Post Dollymarie
Hello everyone, For those of us in the ground early enough today, you might have seen the entire squad run over to the corner of the South Stand when they came out to warm up. They went over to see Oskar to give him a card and a signed shirt, as on Tuesday Oskar has to go into hospital for a major operation. Due to his cerebral palsy, he’s got to have what is basically a double hip replacement, as he is currently unable to walk (which he previously could after his surgery that fans helped raise money for) and is in huge amounts of pain. He’s going to be in plaster for about 6 weeks, and the hope is that then he can have rehab to get him back on his feet again. He’s understandably feeling pretty anxious (as is Lizzy his mum) but knows that the operation is essential in the long run. Oskar and Lizzy have said I can post this, just thought people might like an update on how he’s doing, he’s a teenager now, and has had to put up with far too many health issues for someone of his age. Oskar won’t be able to get to games whilst he’s recovering from his op, which he’s pretty down about. Wondered if people might like to leave messages for Oskar and Lizzy and I can make sure they see them. 8 2 4

Sleepy1968
Wow, amazing to think you were that little lad that made lots of grown men (and women) cry when you walked on the pitch and gave that speech. I'm welling up thinking about it now. All the best for your operation and rehab.
