As much as Kalas is an excellent defender, we have lost our passing game since Atkinson came off as both Kalas and Vyner seem more comfortable with the long balls, which dosnt suit our small front 3. Let’s hope Atkinson injury isn’t serious as having him and Naismith out at same time will effect our general play

No doubt we will be going longer so expect to Cornick soon

Was waiting for Mehmet's chance to hit the inside of the post and spin in.  Then the scramble afterwards.

Decent first half, stubborn.  Pitch is awful, bare, grass, bare, grass.

Wouldn't mind us playing down our right a bit more...not sure their LB is comfortable, and Clarke doesn't track back.

It took a few goes of closing down all the windows offering “adult experiences” before the hesgoal link worked. Not using a vpn

If you have a android box or fire stick just download apps, watching it perfectly free of charge although it did swap from the high squeak voice from Sunderland tv to the depressing deep voice on robins tv midway through

Download which App?

Could see that coming a mile away, we've made bad decisions in the final third numerous times, very creative but that final pass or taking a shot when a better option was on and that counter from them opened up when Vyner went chasing out which meant Tanner couldn't pressure as there was a gap behind him.
Frustrating as hell as we've been the better team by miles but that finish from Sunderland has been the difference, they've had very little but when they get their first real chance they take it.

ah we need more central presence  up top! Vyner pressing a bit too high and Sunderland catch us on the break Tanner could of been tighter good finish though. Very end to end game not out of this at all but need to get hold of the ball centrally .

Wish the robins tv commentator would shut the **** up, Atkinson playing well, then off injured, city look most likely to score, 15 seconds later Sunderland score

He does it all the ******* time.

That’s the frustrating thing, that had been their only chance….

Don't bother showing him the line then Tanner.

He couldn't force it because Vyner was out of position from a midfield chase down he didn't need to commit to. Honestly, watch back the replay when the ball is in the middle of the pitch, Vyner comes out to close down rather than letting the midfield pressure, then he turns to run back and although he's sprinting back the gap is behind Tanner so if Tanner commits and it beaten it's one on one with Max. Vyner has improved no end but his biggest mistake in the back three when he was piss poor was knowing when to come to pressure and when to stay, in this case he made the wrong decision and it stretched us out.

Well consider that the guy just shimmy inside and got a shot away without the hint of a challenge, what would you say??

I would say his stance was attempting to show him down the line. A quick cut back onto his right and the lad has put it in the top corner. He hasn’t showed him inside has he.

Oh yeah, very frustrating but look at the quality of the finish, we've barely got off a clean strike like that, we've created loads and come close hitting the post but it's been scruffy chances and they've really pushed Mehmeti back now, double manning him which is stifling the attack, we need to be switching it side to side, Sykes can run at players too and could cause issues.
