Manchester City at home FA Cup 5th round match thread

Low, very low expectations tonight - so won’t be critical:

In terms of ‘giving a good account of ourselves’ we’re doing that.

We knew we’d need a mistake from them and we did get one, a slip letting Bell in, but the composure not quite there.

Should have had a penalty.

There’s been one or two loose passes from players in good form, but it’s a different class of press TBF to them.

Scott looking more than good enough for the level.

Kalas, a brilliant half.

Only 1 nil, so can we stay in it and take a chance.

We've played really well and could have equalised

Man City aren't all that at this point cracking game

Foden`s the difference - he just looks like he has the beating of everyone. George has done well up to now keeping a lid on him.

Not too shabby, we`re holding our own and creating a fair bit. Happy with that.

Exactly.  I'm well impressed with the performance thus far.  Good to see the young lads playing without feeling outclassed in any way.  Can see this ending 1 all TBH.  Either way win or lose it bodes well for the future of BCFC.

Amazes me how little blame Tanner seems to be getting for their goal, Vyner can take whichever the player is between them, Foden is arriving back post with no one watching/tracking him which should be Tanner's job. Bell getting the blame for switching off and not tracking Mahrez, Tanner switches off just as badly.

Do some of you not realise who we're up against? Your whining might be justified in a league game, it isn't tonight.

I know, they put top 4 Prem teams to the sword. We are playing against the best or one of the best teams in world football. I’m proud of the boys.
