Cardiff’s match guide: https://www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/news/matchday-guide-city-vs-bristol-city Cardiff chatter Cardiff is the capital of Wales and the UK’s 11th largest city. It became the capital of Wales in 1955. It’s Europe’s smallest and one of its newest capital cities. 9% of the population in Cardiff speak Welsh as well as English. Cardiff was the first Fair Trade capital in the world. The city has on average more hours of sunlight than Milan! Cardiff is also known as the City of Arcades. It has the biggest concentration of Victorian, Edwardian and modern-day indoor shopping arcades in Britain. The Principality Millenium Stadium has one of the largest sliding roofs in the world and is the second-largest stadium in the world with a fully retractable roof. It also currently uses falcons to scare off pigeons and small birds. What’s the best way to draw attention to and promote your fast, easy, and affordable city buses? Would it be playing up the positive aspects of public transportation, or perhaps shattering unfounded stigma about the perceived socioeconomic standing of those who rely on buses? Would it involve a smart campaign that makes bus-riding seem more appealing and more convenient? If you said yes to any of the above bits, then you were clearly not a member of the think tank behind New Adventure Travel’s inexplicable “Ride Me All Day for £3” campaign. Rather than actually try to promote…you know, actual things having to do with riding the bus…the Cardiff-based company opted to use the tried and true method of just using good ol’ fashioned sex (see photo). The Wales Millennium Centre has won the Loo of the Year Awards twice. Westgate Street in the centre of the city used to be a river. The city has the oldest record store in the world. Famous children’s writer Roald Dahl was not only born in Cardiff, he also grew up in Llandaff. There he is also famous for slipping a dead mouse inside a jar of sweets in a sweet shop where the shopkeeper was particularly unkind to him. Pubs The police have said: Received questions from several BristolCity fans around 'away friendly pubs' for Cardiff on Saturday. After match was a pain as the old bill herded all the City fans along Sloper Road towards Grangetown Station. My daughter and I had to hang back and slip out of the Police cordon to get back to our car.

EstoniaTallinnRed
Hello all. Always expect a good game against the Bluebirds, all the directions and advice here, takes me back to my days with Cardiff Bus. I retired in 2006, in those days Ninian Park was right next door to the bus depot, whenever they played at home the routes 1 and 2 had to be diverted as that part of Sloper Road was closed and those routes were sent via Bessemer Road. Brings back lot's of good memories of my 13 years there and I got lots of stick in the canteen for being a Robins fan. It was all good banter though. Anyway let's hope the Cup defeat hasn't lessen the boy's fighting spirit and they get a good result. So Come On You Reds,!

RedorDead BCFC
Turners coaches are owned and ran by a Cardiff City fan. Just a bit of useless info whilst I wait for kick off.
ralphindevon
On the slow stopper train to Cardiff, the train manager has about 3 coats on and has turned the heating off. Looking forward to getting off so i can thaw out in the concourse
Robin101
I suppose the quirk of a long unbeaten run is that with every passing game I expect us more and more to lose - because, due one. Been proved wrong so far - COYR!

Kid in the Riot
Be interesting to see how we perform post-Man C. Our seasons seem to have consistently petered out over the last few years so it would be nice to finish a season strongly for a change. We haven't scored from open play in three matches now, and before that we were hardly free-scoring (Brum and WBA the exceptions) so slightly concerned about our ability to finish chances when they arrive. Let's not lose the unbeaten league record to these lot, come on City!!
Open End Numb Legs
Hard to predict Cardiff, unpredictable would sum it up. Lost at Norwich last time out but beat Reading and Birmingham before that. In a way probably better for us for them to have a bit of confidence, we have some pace to cause trouble if they want to push up.

Playing centre forward does not suit Bell's natural game, so much better when on the left and can cut-in. Trouble is that's also Mehmeti's best position. I'd have Wells over Bell as CF anytime.

Massively oversimplify this but we seem to go gun go at defences for 60 minutes, tire them out, make some changes and bring wells and another forward on to play ‘smarter’ whilst still maintaining pace and directness.

I think we now have 6/7 forwards who you can perm in multiple ways to do exactly as you say. Barnsley did that in their play off season, played 3 for 55-65 then released 3 more for last 25-35.
