Been tweeting consistently the last 3 days, with notifications on I keep thinking finally someone will be announced but it’s just one of our under 14s making the Bhutan under 15s or something.

That’s the usual pattern but JB is still on loan at Nice and don’t think their season finishes for a couple of days. Pretty sure we won’t hear anything until their season has finished and he has ‘returned’ to Fulham.

Despite your hilarious comment I must ask that you do some research and you’ll see that I did not claim to be aware of an announcement, I was simply taking the word of the ITK folk on here. Hasn't come out yet from what I'm seeing.

No clue if Joe's coming but with him in France it was never going to happen this week. For the most part, as far as big leagues go, Germany and the Bundesliga are the only place where it's not uncommon for clubs to announce signings while the players haven't finished their season. Whatever happens, we'll find out in due time I'm sure

I think a couple of people have every reason to have a good idea (rather than pretend they are ITK) they know based on their source(s).

I also don’t believe there is anything wrong with stating “heard it’s done” if that is what you’ve heard, it’s up for that poster to decide the validity of the person they heard it from.  That’s not claiming to be ITK, that’s just passing on info.  The vitriol to those posters is way OTT.

It’s no different to you now taking the opposing view from a random post on a Facebook site.

In all of this there are a few of things…

- do you trust the person who told you

- do you wanna put it on OTIB

- would that compromise the source in any way

I imagine there are a number of posters on here who know lots of stuff, but don’t put it on here.

James Piercy is/was the boss of Andy, Gregor, and most recently Rich.  They all work on the same 'team' for the Post sports section and they probably have most of the same contacts - agents.

James has been around long enough to possibly have built relationships with sources inside the club, but we'll never know that.

Maybe people just putting 2 & 2 together & coming up with 5? Russell Martin is set to be appointed & as he was "interested" in Bryan for Swansea, maybe people assume he will be for the Saints? But as they spent £6 million on a young left back from Man City last summer i'm not so sure if he will get as much game time over there as he will with us if he chooses them. Time will soon tell.

Yes, and I base my judgement on whether they have a track record that shows they have credible sources.

My main reason I believe this 'may' be true is because @Bcfcshags said he heard it was done. He's been bang on in the past on match days knowing the match day team before its been released so he clearly knows someone. Since this BP have also confirmed our interest. If it doesn't happen I'm not going to mad at this poster as all they said was they heard it was done and passed it on.

However if it is done, we are likely just waiting for Fulham to release their retained list as he's still their player or waiting for Joe to come back from a holiday..

He’s barely featured for a while, but it still makes a lot of sense to announce him after his loan there has officially ended.

I expect this one to be revealed in a week or so.
