Find yourself someone that loves you as much as Ian Gay loves stating the height and weight of professional football players.

orgasm love GIF

Ian Gay discovering that Brad Greene of the Flyers is 6ft 11in and 18st 10lb. :)

There another video I’ve found of his goals and assists in his season under Manning at MK

Some of the assists are gorgeous.
Note that he does mostly contribute from central areas. So he definitely shouldn’t be shunted out left like he’s been at Hull.
Note also the amount of forward runners he is able to find. If we can get Conway, Knight, Sykes making those type of forward runs, Twine will find them. Of that I have no doubt

The amount of times I watch Tommy drop a shoulder and make a run round the back of the defender but no one finding him hurts.

Hopefully twine can unlock that. I’ve said it consistently that TC is one of the best natural finishers I’ve seen, we just need to get to it him in space for once!

Forget the goals and assists from dead ball set pieces just for a minute (they'll come in handy, mind).

Look at where on the field he picks the ball up and hurts the opposition, look at the runners ahead and around him.

That's where we need to play him and those are the options we need to give him.

Can we do that?

He does my head in with all this "I understand such and such" as if he has inside information. That's how he likes to frame it.

The reality is he understands because he's read it on the Internet like the rest of us or heard in in press conferences.

Ian has zero sources at the club.

That's true.

Mind you, some people read it on the internet and hear it in press conferences...and still don't understand it 😂

Very good….for you Mark!

The irrelevance of height and weight! 🤦

I might well be wrong.......but there was/is a player called Elton Gomes who weighed in (Ha!) at 5 foot tall.................apparently could perform a nutmeg with the ball at his feet?  PS. How tall was Lou Peters?

And here is his highlights in the season prior to MK, when he was at Newport & Swindon (when he was out of contract 😡)🤣

I can see it’s grating you this…

Better late than never eh?🤣

Can’t see why Burnley would withdraw him from a loan at Hull, just to loan him out again to us.  He’s made 26 league and cup appearances at Hull, so it certainly isn’t down to lack of game time.

Hopefully just someone talking crap

There are some good reasons relevant to Burnley and them being in the PL, a little birdy told me.

Do not sign him just on loan !!! Waste of money!!! We ain’t going up this season are we so are we forking cash out for someone who won’t be here long term!!!

This is Tinnion and Jon would it be a surprise if we agreed to spunk a load of money on a pointless deal

Tinnion and Lansdown jr cannot allow Manning to fail.

This takes the heat off, even if it's just for half a season.

Money well spent in their eyes if not anyone else's.

All I can add to this is that, on the 24th December I was made aware we’d bid £2.8m and offered a 3.5 year contract.

I’m sure we want to sign him on a perm. I can’t believe for a second it would be a loan with no option and if it is I’ll be quite stunned.

Yep, a straight loan with nothing else seems to be a no-win situation for both parties.

Wouldnt be too surprised if Burnley try moving the goalposts late in the talks. I really dont rate Kompany (despite all the media hype) & would be amazed if he kept them up…..surely they would want Twine to spend another 6 months out on loan getting fully up to speed with the Championship then going back in the summer ready for them to challenge for promotion again the following season.

Hopefully if that is the case we would walk away from the deal…..all will be revealed in the next couple of days. If no news tonight i wouldnt be too surprised if we don’t hear anything until the day after West Ham.

Absolutely no way they recall him from Hull and send him to us unless it’s a loan with option to buy / permanent .

Was played on the left there and didn't get as much game time as he wanted, I could see it happening. Hull just got Carvahlo in too

What a pointless signing, just a loan has removed all sense and excitement from the deal. Money down the drain, miraculous now NP has gone we have money to waste.

The outcome of this feels like a bit of a desperation deal from City.

Welcome though Scott.

The obvious thing for me is that if he starts playing well and we want him guess what happens to any transfer fee.....................sounds like Burnley would not agree a fee with us.
