Ratings in the paper only give him a 7 while Brian Tinnion got Star man with Hill, Wilkshire and Carey also getting an 8. I'm sure Clist should of been up there too. Guest rose Posted December 9, 2003 Share Posted December 9, 2003 Simon Clist certainly was Saturday's Man of the Match, and I had the massive pleasure of presenting him with his bottle of Champagne, along with a fellow fan after the match. B) He was floating on air when he walked into the Centernary Lounge, so nice to see him getting the MOTM award, instead of his usual Saturday home game outing into the Centenary Lounge as one of the 'players meet the sponsors' player. CiderEagle Posted December 9, 2003 Share Posted December 9, 2003 While its great to see Simon Clist back in the team I cannot believe that Luke Wilkshire didn't get MOTM - he was running the show in midfield. I presume Wilson has an eye on playing Clist instead of Wilkshire when Luke goes off with the Aussie team in January, otherwise we are going to be in seroius need of a creative and quick central midfielder.
