Let’s hear them. Yea or no to who you would want out of these and add any more. Let’s keep them realistic though…not people like Graham Potter!

John Eustace - yes

Gary Rowett - no

Dean Smith - no

Nathan Jones - no

Michael Beale - maybe

Steve Bruce - no

Scott Parker - no

Liam Manning - yes

Steven Schaumacher - yes

Ryan Lowe - maybe

Rowett & Smith could be do a decent job here.

Doesn't mean they would/will - as with any manager - but to just dismiss either seems a bit silly.

I’d question which one of those ‘top’ options would actually come?

Suspect it’s becoming more and more obvious in the football world that we have an owner who likes to meddle in first team matters. And the context of Pearson’s sacking will raise eyebrows outside the club. People talk.

But look, there are some good options out there, proven track records.

History (Tinnion, Millen, LJ, Holden) tells us it won’t be one of those, but another one of SL’s ego appointments.

I'll take a guess now and say the most likely Lansdown/Tinnion ( that's the new order) pick will be Liam Manning. Wether he will want to leave Oxford after less than a year who knows.

The new head coach role will report to Tinnion - I think that's becoming clear.

I would be surprised at Rowett

Someone who will say the Lansdowns are great & we should be grateful for all they’ve done for us.

Not someone who will point out their 20 years in charge has seen absolutely no progress away from infrastructure.

Another toady, like LJ.

Bit of advice for crayon boy, in case he’s inexplicably involved here.

If a permatanned man who sounds like Noddy Holder tells you he can trade our way to success, ignore him this time.

As Lansdown keeps on about Luton I'm convinced and have been for months it will be Nathen Jones

That same very worrying thought struck me too.
I hope we're wrong , but it's the sort of stupid logic Lansdown might use.

Don’t give a flying one which lapdog the Lansdowns appoint.

Talking about his replacement is a tacit acceptance of the destructive BS the Lansdowns have repeatedly wrought. Get shot of them and then we’ll talk.

Feels strongly that they had made their mind up about Pearson a while ago, saving the money for a new coach, when they became available maybe ?

I said on one of the other threads that timing wise, they can give the new person some time to assess the squad and plan for January. There is some cold logic at play if that is the case

There was a time when we were in a similar, though not as bad, a boat as Brighton.

What a project it could be for him......

Rowett no as the football is dire

Is it.?

Did a great job at Birmingham until they lost the plot & sacked him for a "glamour" name.

Millwall always managed to finish above us despite having a lesser squad, imho.

To totally rule him out just seems silly - who knows how it work out - but he is available & has experience of doing better at this level than we usually manage to achieve.
