Well we all really hope that you never do anything to hurt yourself mate. Talk to any of us on here, or maybe book an appointment with a professional if you aren’t already. It’s a scary step but it’s absolutely the right one. Keep fighting, you don’t want to miss the day Bristol City finally do something! 😁

2)Mark Ashton is a shrewd operator and is why Ipswich are getting to the Premiership

Not that I'm one to believe the club after all that's going on but Gavin Marshall has said that we are close. 

After almost a week, you'd expect them to be down to the final candidates. 

But then this is the same Bristol City that took 6 weeks looking for LJs replacement for them to then appoint someone already in the building.

If you mean Robin for life?  I sent a private message of support etc. I dont think an admission of fragility equals mental health issues. That was my original point which has led to a degree of consternation amongst my "fans".

Fortunately as you are probably aware after exchanging views with me over what is now many many years, I don't tend to get too upset about whether or not someone agrees with me on an anonymous football forum.

Do you remember when you started a thread about unveiling the true individual behind the avatar? It was fascinating but I didn't join on that one. Not because I'm a lag and you are a policeman but because  being SL's love child , related to the Johnson's and Mark Ashton's Life Coach- I thought it best to keep cover

Thanks for posting this. Based on all these interviews if we dont get an exciting and worthy appointment but some untried and untested league 2 manager/coach and finish bottom half of the table the club are going to look a right bunch of numpties.

The reason why we will always struggle to progress is because of the staff at the club/Bristol Sport. 

They tell the son of a billionaire what he wants to hear for their own career progression. Rather than what he needs to hear. 

None of them actually believe what they are saying, hence the head shaking. But they say it because they'll be looked upon favourably by doing so.

I'd go as far as saying Nige was partly sacked because he told crayon boy that the team currently isn't good enough to challenge at the top.

Probably.

Football support is so full of irony and comedy that I can't help but think that "Mark Ashton's Ipswich" would be the cherry on the 'football is ridiculous" cake.

I used to have chats with him at David Lloyd and really liked him although he always seemed slightly nervous. Perhaps he had seen me outrun Brett Pitman on the running machine, well, more walking machine .

Can't quite believe this thread.

People seriously thought Lampard was  nearly done, or that he was ever even in the running? Laughable.

Have to say if this rumour did come from Shags then it appears he's lost his ITK crown, as he was wrong about talks with Rowett, and wrong about when Scott would leave this summer.

It's OTIB and it's brilliant. Until the new Manager is actually appointed.

Obviously don’t know have the connections you do, but in GM’s interview when asked about Lampard, his response was “I can’t talk about individual candidates, we’re still going through a process..”

Doesn’t that suggest he’s a candidate for the position, or at least interested in the job. If there was no truth to it why not just say that, doesn’t affect the other potential suitors for the role or the club? 
 

Might just be trying to fit square pegs in circular holes but see no reason why he or Jon wouldn’t have just squashed false rumours.

Fully agree. Don't understand what sort of kicks people are getting out of spreading misinformation by claiming to be 'ITK' but its making navigating the actual situation pretty ******* hard. Might have to go Robbored style and get my city news exclusively from the OS even as someone keen on an obscure transfer rumour

I wonder why anyone bothers with football club ownership when halfwitted idiots like you make up a significant proportion of the supporters . Why don’t you and a few of the rest of the millionaire morons pool your life savings and buy the club and then you can run it, invest in it, write off its annual losses and ship the s**t the Lansdown do. 
if not, shut TF up and show a bit more gratitude to the best owners this club has had since Harry Dolman.

As I have said, I really couldn't give a rat's arse who comes in now. They have just binned the right man for this football club. 

But at least with Lampard we would be on the telly a lot. Which would be good for me, because I ain't buying a ticket again under the Lansdowns.
