Players to be informed tomorrow l

BCFC31

Recommended Posts

Hospitality season ticket holders got an email saying the exec lounge by the boxes (which they can use on non match days)  is being used for filming on Monday morning so they won't be able to use it. Nobody knows what is being filmed, we can only guess but staff suggested yesterday that they couldn't say what it was.

I'm have heard today the players will find out who the new man is tomorrow weather an announcement will follow in the media or not I'm unsure but it certainly looks like its extremely close 👍

It would make sense to time a press release with informing the players. Clearly there is no way it would be staying under wraps.

Excuse my ignorance but who is he & managed ?

He became famous on the back of getting a job due to his skill at playing Football Manager on his computer, turns out he was pretty good at it!

I have been told that any club employing him will have to pay a fine every match he is in charge as he has no coaching qualifications, but no idea how true it is.

That is certainly true in France. No idea if true in England

OK so this is all starting to check out.

- Clearly plans being made for tomorrow

- Fleming released last night according to credible sources on the other thread.

- Lampard had a meeting cancelled and no further contact (according to claims by a poster who appears credible)

So do we actually have any idea who it is?

The football manager thing is a bit of a myth and he has a degree in coaching, but not yet the pro licence which he is studying for in France. There are no fines being paid now because of his enrolment on the pro course.

The bit about the Championship is interesting.

Seemingly a German second division manager, or Manning. Or Will Still.

Not Lampard, Eustace, Williams, Mousinho, Robinson. But maybe one of those five.

Long week for the ITK’s this 😂

Who we thinking it is?

Not sure unless a compensation agreement was thrashed out and contracts due to be signed today I can't see it being somone in a job currently. Which is a shame as I'd of liked to see manning, Schumacher or Ryan lowe type of appointment.

Will Still has entered the betting

That would be interesting, and set the cat amongst the (supporters) Pigeons.

I was really hoping he would come to England.
I don't think for one minute he would come here, would surely be thinking higher .

Has to be an unattached manager , otherwise there would be a raft of new rumours.

Assume is a free agent due to time scales. Likely his own coaching team if Fleming has been released. High press and develops players.

Couldnt be Jesse Marsch, could it?

JL said how far off the betting market was in his interview - I haven't seen JM in any.

I would hand by season ticket back if it was….

....? Can I ask why?

His Salzburg team (pre Leeds) were one of the best teams I've seen live (granted it was 2021 against Wien), with regards to entertainment.

The one name I haven’t seen mentioned to much is Scott Parker….

I'll support whoever it is (with a few exceptions!).  However, despite his penchant for natty knitwear, I'm not sure Parker is much good unless he's got a much bigger budget than the majority of the division.

Would be delighted to be proved wrong.

No thank you.

Two promotions, with top end budgets. Moaned at the first sign of adversity post promotion in 2022.

Made heavier weather of the two promotions than he probably should have too.

I’ll be completely honest - I just can’t take the Americans seriously

Anyone who played the sport in a way where penalty shoot outs started with a run from the half way line - is not good enough to manage our club 😅

Thanks. I remember a interview he did on talkSPORT now .

Indeed two promotions but with parachute money.

It is refreshing to hear City fans be realistic or even pessimistic about who we could possibly attract unlike the blue lot who seem to think they are a massive club that managers are queueing up to 'do a job for' for.

Looking forward to hearing the news whatever it is. Much like checking the final scores, bracing myself in case of disappointment. Remember, whoever it is, we shouldn't judge them too soon.

This is Steve Lansdown's Bristol City, there won't be any informing of the players tomorrow because our main targets probably told us to do one and now we're scrambling around for anyone who would put up with the restrictions they've put in place.

All this talk of different managers and it's still probably going to be Manning.

I'm super pessimistic after Tinnion, Millen and Holden appointments and can't see any out of the box type coaches coming here.
