Tomo
The picture of Riley celebrating a goal on the east end fence was iconic. The paper cutting used to be on the wall in Alan Roberts Newsagent. Anyone got it? There was a Facebook post years ago with some cracking images showing lots of other City goal celebrations. Of course Scotty's at Cardiff is probably the most iconic... But I would love to see 'Riley on the Eastend Fence' if anyone has it or can find it... 5 1 2
Davefevs
I tried searching for it a while back but couldn’t find it. Can still picture it though.
GrahamC
Loved Riley, had a cat named after him. Proper hard worker & when we were a poor side his goals were a highlight. TC’s first signing for us & absolutely one of his best. 6
TDarwall
You think of Div 3/4 being total hoofball, but Riley & Neville upfront was a fantastic combo. 5

Can you roughly remember when this was, I wonder if the image may be in a follow up match programme. I have a few eighties ones knocking about over my dads I could have a flick through when there next

Davefevs
Well, my memory was him facing the other way….I must’ve had the “negative”. Thanks for posting. Saved along with my Mick Harford ones.

Port Said Red
I liked the one of him jumping over the advertising boards at Wembley and then having to be treated for cramp.

Offside
I loved Riley’s celebration after his header at Wembley in 1986 as well (even though he got cramp!) 1 minute ago, Port Said Red said: I liked the one of him jumping over the advertising boards at Wembley and then having to be treated for cramp. Oh Louie louie
Anybody recall who celebrated a goal, by diving through the air, and pretending to score a rugby try, he got untold stick from the home end in a already spicy atmosphere, was a lovely goal to
cityal
Was it Carl Shutt that tripped celebrating a goal and headbutted the advertising hoardings in front of the East end? maybe non-intentional but sort of iconic

One Team
Some superb goals and photos there, also loved Christian Roberts against Hartlepool. Away from City, Deeney’s goal for Watford in the play off semi final against Nige’s Leicester is one of my favourites. That the goal came straight from a penalty miss was superb but his celebration just jumping into all the fans was fantastic:
Oh Louie louie
For many years in the supporter's club, they had a picture of a goalscorer here who rarely gets a mention Bruce halliday

Oh Louie louie
Martin kuhl pole axed somebody about two minutes in, which upset the Swansea fans, then he scored a goal of the season contender, and celebrated by pretending to score a try,
