Case example #1274748 this evening of why Bristol is a footballing backwater.

Laughable.

The fans are the only constant in a century of underachievement TBf.

I'm hoping mine and others boredom at the backwards passing football is one aspect mind and actually is the key to success but I won't hold my breath

Very interesting comment by Brian, which may not have been heard. "Liam is keen to look at the academy to see if there is anyone before we recruit".  Not sure there is much choice in this, but if anyone is expecting us to be paying money for players, this is why we wont. Brian has openly just said he thinks there is about 10 players who could break through soon.....

I'm not a fan of Mark Kelly aka Ned Flanders.

The questions about atmosphere etc demonstrate yet again the club has absolutely no desire for AG to be a vociferous stadium.

Questions still awful - clearly vetted before hand? Why so many questions that give Tinnion the opportunity to show the club in a good light?

@petehinton at least just asked a better question.

I am amazed that no-one has quizzed them on Nige's departure yet. Maybe OTIB is a meaningless echo-chamber after all?

I find that hard to believe, given how many I know off here that aren’t happy. I do wonder if they’ve been asked not to mention it. Be interesting to get @petehinton’s view later.

There's no way questions on Pearson would be allowed unless someone essentially heckled them.

Notice how when Lansdown was floundering a bit re: atmosphere.. Dave Barton quickly moved things on to discuss the academy. It's very stage managed.

Staged managed is exactly the phrase I was looking for, spot on.

HAHAHAHAHAHA

Someone has actually wished them all the best and received a round of applause,

And we've now instantly moved back onto singing sections.

This is beyond parody.

I think Jon previously said something along the lines that he didn't realise the communication was bad and he was unaware of any issues within the fan base. I can see why he had that opinion now.

State of it.

Watching this I actually hope that the questions have been vetted so certain subjects are off limits, because if they haven't and this is the genuine level of discourse then we're absolutely screwed as a fanbase.

I think we just have to accept that those of us who are regularly on here are the "hardcore" - not necessarily in terms of going to games, but in keeping up to date on what's going on in and around the club and discussing things to a really high level of detail.

A lot of fans watch the games, read the odd headline in the post, maybe check BBC sport, and that's mostly it. It is frustrating at times like this but that's just reality. They probably don't know that BT has talked about being Cat 1 before and so on.

I assumed that the people who would give up their Monday to go to this would be more clued up, but obviously not!
