Robin101
5Live just went to Steve Cotteril at Ashton Gate… to discuss Norwich City. Presumably sums our game up well then.
The Original OTIB
Will be blamed on Milwall's shape and intent, but they had a plan to stay in it and press/step up 2nd half. More space for us, done nothing with it. Thus far ... not front foot.
cidercity1987
No belief whatsoever from any of our players

Red Exile
Fair play to Millwall. They are well organised. But we have created nothing.
CotswoldRed
5 minutes ago, Ivorguy said: I guess with limited resources Manning can’t do much to change the momentum. We need a proven striker asap. We need a playmaker, also asap. I guess we shall basically see young players ‘signed’ for a future that may never come. Exactly what we have done with the Irish player. And then be forced to play them, as in the case of Tanner. A proven striker would still have been waiting for the ball today. 2

cityexile
Almost inevitable. Got to say, across the second half just about deserved as well. Opposite of our match at their place. Their game plan worked.

mozo
Pretty much a vintage away performance from Millwall. They were the better team second half. I'm surprised they didn't get the penalty earlier. Oh well, we're back to being Bristol City again...

westonred
We have been p*ss poor in the last two matches at least its happened now with the transfer window open JL this is not a top six squad we need at least 4 players brought in

ChubStixx
Two back to back stinkers. I type that as the corner goes straight out for a throw in.
luke_bristol
1 shot on target in 2 games is Holden-esque. In desperate need of new players in Jan, not convinced we’ll get them though.
collier
Williams bottled the challenge as well, he loves a challenge on the floor but didn't want it there, weak!
Spike
Can't say they haven't deserved that, we've been outplayed in so many areas, they've looked stronger and we've lacked anything coming forward. What I don't understand is every time we got the ball we didn't push up allowing them to pressure our players into losing the ball and inviting the pressure back on us.
Jose
I’m going to stick with the word dire. Two awful performances after it looked like we were going somewhere. Typical City. We look absolutely clueless when it comes to creating anything. Nothing new. Obvious in the summer we had nothing of note when it comes to creativity.
CotswoldRed
Has been an early-days Pearson performance today. Receive the ball in midfield, turn, face your own goal and pass across the field. poor coaching.
MarcusX
Corrr a few people have suddenly appeared on the thread hey? Credit where it’s due, Hutchinson’s been an outstanding. Williams absolutely bottled that on the edge of the box

Although we are very good at passing backwards. Edited January 1 by bexhill reds
Ivorguy
Shocking. Another home defeat. Normal service resumed. After Birmingham away and today at home Manning must be doubting the wisdom of taking over at City. Why, oh why, can we never build on success when it comes. Now 4 points out of last 9.
Redrascal2
Spend some bloody money and get some quality up front. Because what we have is not fit for purpose.

The Nest Egg
Bless George Tanner, I think he is a better player than most give him credit for but he could be given an open goal from two yards out and would probably still pass the ball backwards... 3 6
Wanderingred
I’m actually amused that people are angry and surprised by this. Anyone who didn’t see this coming is incredibly naive. This is Bristol City!!! 2
Boston Red
We never really went for the win at the end against Birmingham, even though they were completely there for the taking, for fear that they would nick it on the break like against Norwich. With hindsight we should have, bearing in mind what has just happened now.
