I guess with limited resources Manning can’t do much to change the momentum.

We need a proven striker asap.  We need a playmaker, also asap.

I guess we shall basically see young players ‘signed’ for a future that may never come.  Exactly what we have done with the Irish player.  And then be forced to play them, as in the case of Tanner.

A proven striker would still have been waiting for the ball today.

Pretty much a vintage away performance from Millwall. They were the better team second half. I'm surprised they didn't get the penalty earlier. Oh well, we're back to being Bristol City again...

Can't say they haven't deserved that, we've been outplayed in so many areas, they've looked stronger and we've lacked anything coming forward.

What I don't understand is every time we got the ball we didn't push up allowing them to pressure our players into losing the ball and inviting the pressure back on us.

I’m going to stick with the word dire. Two awful performances after it looked like we were going somewhere. Typical City. We look absolutely clueless when it comes to creating anything. Nothing new. Obvious in the summer we had nothing of note when it comes to creativity.

Thought Millwall have played well, their change in management is clearly working. Although we are very good at passing backwards.

Shocking.  Another home defeat.

Normal service resumed.  After Birmingham away and today at home Manning must be doubting the wisdom of taking over at City.

Why, oh why, can we never build on success when it comes.  Now 4 points out of last 9.

We never really went for the win at the end against Birmingham, even though they were completely there for the taking, for fear that they would nick it on the break like against Norwich. With hindsight we should have, bearing in mind what has just happened now.
