West Ham Replay: Sold Out 🎟️/Live on BBC 📺

I am over 65in the Lansdown Wings.  I have had to pay £20 plus £1.25 fees for a seat that is advertised as £15 in the email from the club.  For the sake of £5 I can't be bothered to wait for hours on the phone to sort it out.  Have I missed something?

Just wanted to say kudos on being over 65in. That’s some length and I hope you have girth to match.

Fixed it myself.

If you go on your Personal Details there is a section for Relationships. If your daughter is down as “Friends and Family” then you can’t get access to buy her tickets. I had to delete my kids relationships, then readd them as “Customer to Customer” - that then meant their seats were available to purchase.

See above

Brilliant, thank you!

That's because the price is £20.

Anyone know when the tv games are announced? Can’t buy until the date is confirmed.

Same as working away for the Tuesday but would be OK for Wednesday.

However, as the Rovers site is stating their game is on the Weds we must be Tuesday?

For the sake of a tenner I may just buy my ticket and pass it on if need be anyway though.

same here, had a problem with payment ( standard for me with Bristol sport) , messed about a bit and ended up using the missus’s card and paid no fees

Yeah but I have £2.50 to play with now, you think I wouldn't hire a top legal team with that money and fight Lansdown in court over this?

Thanks. I did mine but as others no options for others. I then just added my daughter as you say as customer without deleting & lo and behold it appeared.

Another Q for all can you just scan the barcode from smartphone  (NOT wallet) rather than print the ticket ?

Weird over the random booking fees, I did not get charged one,

I did.

£1.25 for print at home.

I'm not going to argue the point with the club, waste of my time for £1.25, but the hassle/experience of actually getting a ticket was a bit of a pain in itself, but at least I got a ticket

I had the identical situation (except I didn't get charged the £1.25 fee!)

The email said the 65+ seats would be £15 but they've charged us the Adult £20 price. And I didn't miss an option to confirm my age because the printed ticket says 65+ and £20.

Cock up. I've submitted something in the SLO Q&A section.

They are charging OAPs an extra fiver to cover all the people that didn’t pay the £1.25 fee like me , cheers mucker 👍

Yes - albeit you usually have to enlarge the barcode slightly for it to scan

Every season it's the same with "buying your own seat" for cup ties.

Screenshot2024-01-09at12_19_56.thumb.png.e3dadd2c5dd989e61c7daa2ff172f212.png

I tried 2 cards in my own name with same outcome. Tried the missus card and went through fine. Can you try another card in a family member’s/ partner etc name?

I got a different error and only managed by using the email link.
I've also had to use a different browser before now.

If Rovers have confirmed for Wednesday, we'll be Tuesday. Other days are out as we have Saturday games either side of it.

It's no longer automatically the case that both clubs can't be at home at the same time. Haven't there been a couple of occasions now where it has happened?

Yes there have been recent incidents of playing the same night but on each occasion there wasn't expected sell outs or 4k from the away team coming down which would stretch police resources if we both play on same night

Tried 2 cards but none worked. Messaged Jerry (legend) on Twitter who rang me back and took a phone payment with same card, worked.

Pity the systems we pay a £1.50 booking fee for don't actually work. Perhaps Jerry should be getting all the £1.50's (and would deserve it!)

Is this going to be a 26k sell out?

Won't be 26k with segregation etc, but fully expect it to be a sell out of however many are available. About 25k

Just out of interest, did the two cards come from different providers - Visa, Mastercard?

The new two stage authentication (the code number sent to your phone) seems to cause these problems sometimes, and I’m told Visa and Mastercard use different ways of operating it, so that sometimes one works but not the other.

Would also explain why Jerry could take it over the phone: it doesn’t operate for over the phone payments.

And, possibly, why a different person’s works too. Different algorithms was to whether to ask for authentication.

Yep, several factors in play for SCA (Strong Customer Authentication), to things like is your device “trusted” (eg have you successfully used this device in the past), is BCFC someone you’ve successfully bought from before, the amount of the txn, the fraud rates of your card provider, etc, etc.

I worked on this in the past, it was quite interesting stuff, especially working with the Fraud dept and some of the stories they had!

Did you get an email from the club?

I clicked on the link from that and it took me to a different page than the normal one, then into the 4 family supporter's id.

Purchase done in 2 mins, was all good.

Not excusing the nonsense, but maybe there is a way around it?

As per top of this page, it’s not really the ‘buy ticket’ option you need; it’s the ‘click here for your reserved seat’ link.

Both mine were Visa and pretty sure the missus card was visa as well . Like you said I’ve had to phone up before now and card works when done over the phone.
Anyway , jolly decent of the other half to buy my tickets I say!

The link takes me to a page which does not display my tickets. When i click proceed it just takes me to the main ticket page. I've tried everything, several times over. Even tried on other devices etc. Frustrating as hell.

I had the same. My card number was correct and so was the CVC number, however the ticket site remembered my OLD expiry date for the card. As soon as I updated the expiry date it worked.

Not denying that others are having issues, but from my perspective it couldn’t have been easier. Followed the email to my reserved tickets. Paid. Received email with tickets about a minute later.

Same process for me. Although I had the £1.25 booking fee added!

Just managed to book my FA Cup replay tickets after 1 hour 36 minutes on hold in a queue.  It appears as though many other ST holders have also been affected by the online booking issues like.  The incompetent person in the ticket office was unable to book alternative seats in the ground other than my own season ticket seats even though it states on the BCFC website "Different seats can be selected at the time of booking".

Hopefully when Brian Tinnion takes up the position of CEO the commercial side of the club will finally get sorted!

Have been trying to ring re an issue all day using 0117 963 0600. No queue, never got anything other than Line Busy.

Is there any alternative number?

You’d think on a day like today when you’ve only got 24hrs to buy your ST seats for a cup game that they’d have several help lines open to sort problems. That would be far too organised for Bristol sport though
