Davefevs
Norwich 1-0 up at Hull - helluva goal from Rowe. Table as it stands. Carvalho proving not to be a cheat-code so far. Tufan booked for a dive, could’ve had one first half too.
NcnsBcfc
I wonder what sort of team they will put out on Wednesday? It was about 7 changes in the first game i think, but I'm guessing the league is the priority over the cup. An away tie to Liverpool doesn't carry the same glamour when you've done it in the league a number of times recently.
BCFCGav
Fair play Tufan is utterly shameless. The again after the one they got at the Gate, why not dive!
Rudolf Hucker
The Hull pitch is dreadful - looks awful and is so bobbly. I’ve always considered Rosenior to be a moaning git but he looks apoplectic with some of the decisions which have (rightly) gone against his team. Having two of his players booked for simulation in two minutes will make his post match interview worth watching!

Weak goalkeeping In a way you can see it wasn’t an obvious foul but keepers usually get one for the smallest of touches so again comes down to subjectivity and inconsistency. Probably would have been given as a foul if it was against a big team at home .

New Moon On The Quay - Harbourside….last season v QPR. Not that far as the crow flies. 3 minutes ago, Malago said: For me, Trafford misjudged the flight of the ball, realised he was getting there and milked the contact with Adebayo The camera angle looking down the pitch shows Adebayo didn’t do a lot wrong. The cynic in me says had it been Ederson, Allison, etc, it gets disallowed though! They won’t care for either Luton or Burnley.

I thought that Trafford was blocked by Adebayo who appeared to back into Trafford whilst others see it differently The goal was awarded but on another day could have been ruled out.

VAR ref obviously wanted to get home rather than let the on pitch ref have a look ! People have often said they would rather see less VAR involvement and the refs decision be final . Trouble is a lesser “foul” will be given tomorrow..

Mr Popodopolous
There will be twists and turns aplenty. The top 4 are the top 4 more or less but 10 sides and maybe more will think they have a chance of the playoffs to some level, 6th certainly and maybe 5th.

The 'club' might have played Liverpool recently, but have the current squad of player or even the manager come up against them? Add to that the potential financial windfall it would generate, 3rd round winner prize money a probable television appearance and gate receipts, the bean-counters will be desperate for progression, add to that a January transfer window which if more revenue is nailed on might allow them to strengthen, then I would expect them to go full strength. Short answer, Allams post 2016 say ran not just a tight ship but austerity, made Mike Ashley look like Abramovich. Hull owner inherited a very low cost base, artificially low revenue as fans were keeping away and attendances as low as 12k average. Income streams with buoyancy have risen and KLP £15-20m pure profit in 2022-23..I'd say if they don't go up within the next 18 months, end of next season at the latest. Davefevs
Another young, modern head-coach who appears to not be placing enough emphasis on the defensive side of the game. FWIW I quite like him as a head-coach, but he does like an excuse or he was hard-done-by.

As good as they were going forward against us their defence and particularly goalkeeper Alsop aren't going to get them into the playoffs.
