gibbo7
To add a bit of weight to my argument I’m fed up of seeing Sam Bell bring nothing to games. The times he beats a man the end product is woeful and the times he doesn’t he gets brushed off the ball so easily and really does look lost defensively at wingback.

GrahamC
Interesting side. Would have rested Conway & James myself, McCrorie is logical too in view of the time he’s been out. gibbo7
Tbf ……. I can get by the Knight positioning, and Wells coming into the team. Williams has been great of Late it’s just Sam Bell has been looking like a League 2 player at best. I wonder if his Dad was someone else whether his career would have took a similar path to Sam Pearson.

Because Sam Pearson definitely would have scored 4 Championship goals in his first 9 games this season.. That’s why he’s playing National League South. Truly embarrassing, there are several who are equally obsessed with Cornick but you know far more than Pearson or Manning who have both picked him, so pile on to an Academy product who is definitely a valuable squad player.

Sorry to break it to you but you can't just refill their stamina like you would on Fifa or Football Manager.

Offside
The changes seem sensible to me. McCrorie probably needs a rest as he returns to fitness. Mehmeti has been looking dangerous. Bell looked lively when he came on v Forest. Williams has been playing well. Conway is probably knackered after playing up front in his own, but he can come on if needed. Let’s beat them, City. We’re due a win. COYR

Ivorguy
Oh so typical of City. Injuries which all clubs have, seem worse for us because of our thing squad, and add in now the build up of games, my optimism after cup games is evaporating fast. We need points if Manning is going to deliver on target set him. Come on City play a blinder tonight and confound all of us worriers with three points. Numero Uno
My entry for most negative post on the MDT so far this season is that with this side we'll lose this 13-1 (and that will be an own goal), Twine's season is over, Bell will cross the ball 12 times in the match and every single one will end up in the stand, Max will also kick the ball into the stand around twenty three times, we will pass the ball back to Max from an attacking position on the edge of their penalty area when we could have got a shot away at least seven times and we will be handed a letter from the EFL at full time advising us we are on an FFFP charge. Worrying.............. Oh, and despite all that happening be careful what you wish for.

To be completely honest at times this season (like when we ripped Swansea & Plymouth apart) yes, at others no. Sam has a 100% availability record this season, he’s also the only outfield player to have been on the pitch for some part of every single league game. I run a big team for my job & the people who work for me that I like the most are the ones who come in every single day, not the ones who are good at their job but I can’t ever rely on to do so. Our squad is small, as usual tonight’s bench includes two totally inexperienced youngsters & Andy King. This nonsense about him not being good enough is childish, two very different managers have consistently picked him, at 21 he’s already played far more Championship football than his Dad ever did. I am far more frustrated by Naismith’s consistently poor availability record than anything Sam does.
