Half time thoughts.

Is it my imagination or are the Leeds players, man for man, faster than ours?

Why  are so many City passes going astray?

City do  seem to have picked up for the last 10 mins of that first half.

Their goal came from being faster than us. Their almost 2nd came from yet another misplaced pass.

Leeds look and are quality, they have a great squad and huge money.

But, why are we playing 3 at the back? We do not have the players for that, and we have gone from having 2 CB's who knew what they were doing, to players looking confused and far from automatic in their choices of positioning.

Leeds are very good, we cannot forget that, but I do not know why we are messing around with the defence, because that was one thing we did not have an issue with.

Start the half with the same team and surprise, surprise....got exactly what we deserved.

Exactly, LM has seen Leeds dominate the first half. We somehow get to HT 0-0, have the chance to change things and he sends them back out in exactly the same failing formation again... idiot!

FWIW there's probably an argument that he'd have hoped to do better for the goal. Very much in credit so far tonight though

He absolutely should have done better.

But he shouldn't have been left in that position, the major mistakes for the goal were before him and Max should have done better.

But Max has a weird cult of fanboys on here.

I’m going to be on my deathbed in the year 2069 with City in mid-table in the Championship, aren’t I.

Yes but just think of the Derby and Oxford players we'll have lined up in the hope they develop into valuable assets!

Not too concerned about losing to Leeds, they're on a different level to us wage budget and quality wise.

However, we've barely paid a glove on them and have gifted them chance after chance through our own sloppiness. Really frustrating

Yes, this. No issue with losing but it’s the manner of it which is annoying

Hey , Leeds are a good side. They have some really good players only a PP club can afford. It is frustrating but that is how it is, and has been. It is not the games against Leeds that get you a play off spot. It is the Brum/Preston/Milwall results

Trust the process. We play so much better football now. I'm sat on the edge of my seat. We're very well coached.

Can’t recall this level of sarcasm against WH and Florist. Leeds are just a much better team.

I tend to align with a lot of your thoughts, but this is a bit boring now.

Sick and tired of losing to Leeds, tbh

This is ******* embarrassing

I came on to write exactly this. I don’t care that Leeds are better than us all over the pitch- I expected that. Just not sure why we’re helping them out at every opportunity.

Does manning just think we will suddenly go from abysmal to good without anything changing?!

Welcome to my concern club.

Over now 15 league games, we’ve shown a chronic inability to differ from the initial gameplan. It’s a huge, glaring, weakness when things aren’t going to plan. It was evident against Boro and Soton early on. It’s part of Liams makeup undoubtedly, he likes a plan, analysis and being organised. But until he sorts the in game piece out it’s a massive Achilles heel.
