Good first half so far , we’ve made the Tractor Boys as boring as us

Not been awful. It just feels a bit predestined…hang on until they score, then what do we do? Not really moving forward at all.

It's probably worth pointing out that Ipswich are pressing us pretty well to limit our ability to play out.

I was much more annoyed v Cardiff when Dickie and Vyner were ignoring easy passing lanes and taking an extra touch.

I cannot believe how many times , we've got the ball in midfield with a counter on, and then passed it back to our defence, resetting everything ,bringing their first line off defence into the game.

Worse still , give it away soon after.

Absolutely infuriating.

Well in terms of being away to the team in 2nd - a very good first half.

Matched them, pressed well, been brave in possession, Manning gone to 4 at the back, good energy levels.

Defensively strong, Vyner and Dickie great.

Much, much improved.

Less good - still looking rather toothless up top, very little to shout about, better from Mehmeti, not sure about Knight up front (other than what he does off the ball)

We’ve got to be careful, looked master of our own downfall with careless possession that has almost cost us a few times. Feel if we keep doing so, they will punish us.

And finally will McKenna have an answer to us tactically, surely Ipswich will have a tweak at half time and improve? Can Manning do the same??

Or can we do to Ipswich what others have been doing to us and nick a goal for an unlikely win?!

Good out of possession well organised limiting them to very little but we really have to improve on the ball we’re so sloppy when we get into their half. We could grab a goal here but as always it’s probably going to come through an Ipswich error or a set piece and not through our own attacking move. Decent half though.

A good half. Nothing spectacular but nothing like the drubbing everyone was expecting. As an away team playing a top side in the division you've got to be positive about that half.

I mean, it is better, we are making a game of it. Ipswich are free scoring at home and we have restricted them to not much. Equally, still bloody frustrating when we get a little space in midfield and instantly turn back.

Good move from Harry and Wells, but other than something a little out of the blue, not sure where any goals are coming from. Like last few games, feel 0-0 is the best chance of a result, once lapse, they score, and it’s pretty much it.

But it is at better.

Good half, can't knock that.

Agreed. 33 mins and I thought Ipswich were about to score, but no and then minutes later we came close.

Both keepers are having the ball played back to them more than I thought they would.

Considering the discussion earlier today; LM appears to have the formation and tactics right.
