22A Posted Friday at 20:58 Share Posted Friday at 20:58 What the hell is going on at Blyth Spartans? A day after Blyth Spartans chairman Irfan Liaquat informed he is selling the club who are bottom of the seventh-tier Northern Premier League Premier Division with nine points from 12 games, having been relegated from National League North last season they club have today announced in a statement: "Due to recent club resignations, Spartans currently does not has the capacity to meet the correct legal requirements to host this Saturdays fixture against Gainsborough Trinity" Fans boycotted the FA Trophy defeat against Stockton in the last match at Croft Park in protest at Liaquat’s running of the club, a club the Newcastle businessman bought for £1 last April and he has cited these protests as one of the reasons he wants to sell up. Severn Beach Pigeon Posted Saturday at 20:08 Share Posted Saturday at 20:08 Kicked off at Melksham today, one of their fans swinging at Lashenko after the game ended, then a fight in the clubhouse. Manor Farm winning 3-2 there with a 95th minute penalty to put Britton onto 7 goals in 7 days

Gillies Downs Leeds
Got a feeling that now Portishead have got Jay Murray and another forward in then Ben Bament will rock up at Paulton. Portishead never had a game at the weekend and Bament was watching Paulton v Radstock.

It's bloody cheeky, but fair play - I do like that approach for a club of that size.
