Guy Fawkes has been sentenced to be hung drawn and quartered. But there's talk that if his appeal is successful the punishment will be reduced to being hung drawn and halved instead.

Hopefully he gets off and has another go

Tommy might want to stand by his phone…

Lyndon Dykes apparently injured in training today & appears a real doubt for the Euros.

He should get a good signal on the roof!

Pictures on twitter showing him being stretchered off at training.

Lets hope Conway is in better shape than I ever was 4 weeks after the season finished 😂

If Tommy can show the world what Scotland can do during the euros it could add -£500k or more to our asking price.

If he shows what he can do at the euros it will up the asking price a lot more than that for sure , Daily Record up there puts him well up the list of who they would want called up

Especially as he has previously been called up by Clarke to the senior set-up for training sessions.

You'd think he’d be a shoe-in for selection, unless they want a player the same as Dykes.

Hardly played this season - would imagine TC will be the most likely if they call someone up

Especially as Clarke has said recently if anyone got injured he dip into his u21s

I know but he’s the better player and more like Dykes than any of the others

Clarke says he wants a few days to decide. U21s have Turkey tonight and Austria on Friday. Certainly sounds like an opportunity for him to force his selection.

Not often I take interest in Scotland U21's but sounds like these next games will have a great impact on his international career at least, fingers crossed Tommy can do what's needed to get the call up.

On Talksport just now we had both Chris Iwelumo and Darragh McAnthony saying that Tommy Conway is the most obvious replacement.
The only thing that might prevent his call up is if Clarke wants a more physical presence to replace Dykes, in which case Nisbet might be more likely.
But I’d say Tommy is now the favourite…..

If Tommy is favourite it shows one thing ...... How piss poor the jocks are!

They will be straight home after the group stages

I think it shows that Tommy Conway is still highly rated.

Winner all round if he can make the senior squad and get sone game time.

If I’m reading this correctly he has to drop a couple from the preliminary squad by the end of the week anyway? Is that correct!

I have my fingers crossed for Conway!

Yep, though one of those will be a keeper as they've got 4 in the squad currently. Then it's just a question of whether he replaces Dykes and drops from another position.

Becomes only the second City player to feature in a full international for Scotland whilst with us.

Paul Hartley was the other, Jamie McAllister was also on the bench a couple of times but didn’t get on the pitch.

Gow, Ritchie & Sweeney never did.

Hopefully this is a sign he is going to get a good amount of minutes in the tournament. Sure he won't underestimate Gibraltar either, I noticed recently he played 90 mins when Aberdeen lost in the Scottish Cup to 6th tier side Darvel.

Ross getting slated on twitter from the Scotland fans. Apparently no where near good enough to take to Germany

Can moan all they want, what they've got to remember is that they are Scotland.

Ross has done fine. Hard to truly judge seeing as it's Gibraltar in a friendly.

He'll probably get another go on Friday and I expect he'll start against Germany.

Fingers crossed Tommy has done enough tonight. Could find himself making his senior debut this week.

He played pretty much as he does for us. Commentators mentioned a lack of penetration and attempts to get behind the defence on the right. That's basically him - rarely tries to beat a FB, usually stops and passes it back/sideways.

Gibraltar, men behind the ball, Scotland taking an age to get the ball to him.  A little reluctant to pass early to the “new boy”.  McGinn getting into same area not helping.

You kinda got what you’d expect from McCrorie on debut, a safe performance.

Yeah, I think safe is a fair way to describe him. Probably won't let you down defensively but not gonna add too much going forward. Maybe they will be happy to use their quality on the opposite side for that and play safer on the right.

Scotland will spend most of the tournament defending (that’s not a dig, just reality), they’re better off with someone solid at the back but comparatively weak going forward.

They're actually quite a likeable group at the moment, so I hope Scotland do OK.

Yep, and if you have Robertson or Tierney at LWB, you can play a bit lopsided.

From the Beeb, Steve Clark

On Ross McCrorie: "He's a good player, he wouldn't be in the squad otherwise. He's a good athlete. When you think he hasn't played since the first weekend in May, his fitness was good. That's a credit to himself. I thought he acquitted himself very well for his first cap."

On replacing Lyndon Dykes: "I have a relaxed day tomorrow. I'll have a little think about it and have a chat with my staff."

On learning Tommy Conway scored for the Under-21s tonight: "Tommy's done great and he's certainly one that's at the front of my mind."

Our reporter Jane Lewis has just mentioned Tommy Conway's goal for the Under-21s tonight to Steve Clarke.

The Scotland head coach says the striker is one who's "at the front of my mind" in regards to replacing Lyndon Dykes.

And on Ross

Can't Edit but updated:

I don't think the way Manning had us playing suited Tommy. However as Scotland will be playing defensively then I think it will be really silly to not take Tommy. He'd be a good option to have on the bench.

Same for Watkins, struggled for England tonight in same role

Scotland were only two over in the provisional squad and already openly talked about releasing one of the four keepers chosen. So they're naturally down to the 26 man squad now

Thing with TC there were already 4 others ahead of him that assumedly he has to displace?

I'm really not sure why anyone gives a toss what tommy does or if he makes the Scotland side he's litrally stuck a finger up to us and is leaving he can **** him self the lad seem proper obnoxious he's done nothing to warrant his opinion of him self.

Yep, that's another way of looking at it.

Each to their own guess.
