Clearing it, playing it out, in the Italy half at varied times..how did that happen?? Croatia are all but out save for the following permutations: *England beat Slovenia 3-0 or more. 4-1 would leave Slovenia and Croatia level in all aspects of Pts, Goals Scored. Ironically they perhaps did better in the subsequent few years vs when their squad was at its total peak in respect of age range at least. Wonder if Switzerland might edge them out. 2021, both WC qualifiers drawn and Italy missed a penalty in both games. Otoh Italy thrashed them 3-0 in Euro 2021.
