Ordered shirt and bouquet hat

My youngest doesn't like the shirt.   So seems to be a hit only with the more descerning gentleman.?  Which got me thinking ....

I realise, the pattern is the same that used to be artexed onto our ceilings when I was a kid.  Maybe thats the inspiration?

£15 for the hat. Reasonable.

£6 p&p. Laughable.

It would probably be £40 p&p to here plus 20% vat and customs duty, meaning you pay the vat twice as well. which is now 22% here.  Probably would be around a total of around  83 euros.  No way for a comical hat like that.

It’s probably a tinsy bit loose on my head, but I had a haircut last week!

Turns out the one size is way too small for me unfortunately. The boy will be delighted with his present.

Erm… may be it’s an age thing but I can only think of that BBC children’s programme ‘Rainbow’ looking at that kit.

Could have been worse, I suppose, with multiple ‘Thomas the Tank Engines’ steaming across the shirt.

WHY?????  WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT HERE?!?!?

You know Jon reads the Forum....you're just giving him ideas!!  He'd link it with Brunels importance to the city and railway and put a stovepipe hat on Thomas!

Went in the shop today and got the last size M home goalie shirt!

If anyone wanted one, there was only one L on the rails, otherwise XL upward only (and in small number). Best to call before turning up. They may have more L & S yet to be put out.

Plenty pink ones still though.

Training gear available in store. Also I saw some ‘heritage’ green goalie shirts being unpacked which will be available. Think they were the same as below:

The collar and sleeves are bloody awful, like a Poundland Croatia

The ‘watches of Bath’ lettering legit looks like something from a knock off shop on a Spanish beachfront

Absolutely hideous, I can't think of stronger words I can say on here. We will be a laughing stock.

I think I would have preferred this as the home shirt to that god awful collar and cuffs we have.

I actually really like it. Clean. Collar and the end of the sleeves give it a bit of character.

I did immediately see the Croatian inspiration mind!
