To be fair, we still played Oxford pre season after drawing them last year. Granted, we were eyeing up their manager at the time! 1

That final friendly tends to get seen as the one where you show most of your cards and test what may be a final starting X1 for the season. BCFCGav
Horror draw. But beat Hull on the opening day and Cov can batter us in the cup for all I care.

Perhaps Cardiff are hoping to put 9 goals past the gas and then pinch their manager in October.

In the EFL Trophy, Notts County are in the Southern section whereas Forest U21s are in the Northern section…
Wanderingred
Why did they get rid of the seedling system? It’s made the competition much more dull. Over half of the ties are between teams in the same division as each other.

The Bard
3 minutes ago, Silvio Dante said: Yes. Meadow Lane is on the North side though! Am I right in thinking the under 21s only play away? Guess that would be why? Fudges some kind of imbalance and prevents a Nottingham derby. Can remember a Stoke v Port Vale game in this kicking off previously.

Is this signalling the ushering out of the season card option from next season*? Also worth mentioning that all first round games will be live on sky sports+. I think the attendance might be low for this one. (*25/26) Edited July 4 by Sleepy1968

(*25/26) Many older and disabled supporters opted for the physical ticket option when the digital tickets were first announced. This is the club sticking up 2 fingers to loyal fans.
