Tinmans Love Child
The highlight of last night for me was the Benny Hill chase which was up there with the 3 little pigs, wolf and city cat fight! For those who missed it, the inflatable Apple race was in full flow, before the guy who was losing decided he'd had enough so he ran up to the Cov end and kicked a stray ball in the net. Unfortunately he missed the goal completely but still went in for a knee slide celebration before gesturing to the Cov fans. The stewards, I think, thought he was a pitch invader and chased him the length of the pitch back to the South Stand, where the guy made up for his earlier miss and stuck a different ball into the back of the net with a cool finish before jumping into another knee slide in celebration at the corner flag, which was when the 3 stewards, no doubt knackered by this point, escorted him off the pitch to a chorus of boos from the crowd! Amazing scenes! 6

Sleepy1968
It was a bit of a highlight, but sort of underlines that you should be careful who you let on the pitch.
Oh Louie louie
I think the stewards should be arrested for scrumping.

shahanshahan
I was at the game last night and missed this as I was in the concourse. I doubt it'll make the Red Zone highlights (if there are any)

BS3City
I did see that the predominantly unnoticed winner also ended up over with the paramedics with some sort of calf injury post event, and that both protagonists left the ground together in seemingly high spirits. Early days I know, but we didn't have these sort of shenanigans when Downsy was at the helm. A total lack of control!

Saw the 'winner' being treated by St John's in the corner of the South Stand and Lansdown, shortly followed by 3 coppers making their way along the front of the South Stand to have a word with the knee-slider. Assume he won't be punished as he was invited onto the pitch, and if he had the chance to sit through the second half, that was probably punishment enough!
Charlie BCFC
I’m not one to blame the security guards but was there any need to tackle him down and hound him off the pitch? Was having a bit of fun with a ball on the pitch and didn’t really put anyone in danger, he was going to get off the pitch anyway. Might be just me but thought there was a slight overreaction there

Did seem a bit ridiculous
Balloon dOr
Definitely a game highlight! Not sure why the police had to get involved - he'd been invited onto the pitch officially to do the apple roll, so not really a crime/security breach. Fair play to him for seizing his moment in style
Parkwaymom
It was pretty obvious from the chat before the Apple roll started that neither of them appeared to need to win any more cider last night, so a bit of high spirited behaviour wasn’t entirely unexpected. The coppers were probably called in to save a bit of face for the stewards who’d got in a pickle. I’m sure no crime was committed but coppers just checking probably diffused an awkward situation. shahanshahan
It seems the apple roll is still going ahead for Saturday, although I haven't seen any posts on the club's socials looking for participants... https://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/whats-on-millwall-h/
