It’s dreadful im not remotely confident we can win from this position unless we get a third. Sorry about the pessimism

Totally agree , if Millwall get one back you know who the likely be the winners ,

Pushing our luck atm at 2 up, letting them get a lot of the ball, we really need a nice period of holding onto the ball and creating some opportunities to kill off their attack right now.

Need to get control again.

It's an interesting battle now. Millwall having to work hard to go man for man out of possession and then stretch the play in possession. They need a goal shortly before or after half time.

Bird is absolutely brilliant. He's an upgrade on James. I don't care what anyone says.

Derby fans really were gutted he left, saw zero sour grapes saying he's really rubbish which is unusual.

H/T

Excellent first 15 minutes, Armstrong was giving them all sorts of problems.

They came back into it, should have pulled one back but the ball somehow stayed out.

This one is far from over, need to move up a gear at the start of the second half.

Hopefully the likes of Twine and Mayulu will make an impact if they come on

Our bench is scary, how many subs can we make now, severn?

Happy with the score line at HT. But we’re a little lax when we are on the ball, especially in our half. Causing our own problems and allowing Millwall to press us.

If we can sharpen up our passing, there are plenty more goals for us here.

Very decent half. Bird is quality and Sincs is a handful. First 20 I was really impressed with the speed of our passing. Mehmeti has become more wasteful as the half went on and I don’t think playing on the left of the 2 helps Knight. Overall well done lads!

Great half, played some lovely football at times. Armstrong, Tanner and Vyner the standouts for me.

Can we have an update on the condition of the recipient of Vyners clearance? 😬

Good half. And to single out a couple who have been heavily criticised in the last week: Joe Williams has shown his worth in that first half - lots of brave defensive challenges. Sykes also doing well.

Not long after passing it back to a Millwall player on the edge of their box and starting a breakaway. He frustrates the hell out of me.

He's not the only player to have messed up a simple pass, Knight and Sykes have also managed to miss their intended pass from short range, the intricate stuff is great but sometimes we can make an absolute mess of it

This is very much a Williams sort of game, not afraid to get himself involved, lovely sliding tackle in our box

Williams and Tanner have both been good, but both gave away silly free kicks in dangerous areas.

Sykes' performance a big improvement.
