He has had a good game.. it's the scuffle after the goal, luckily only a yellow but could have easily have got himself sent off. He doesn't need to get involved in that IMO.

I suppose that’s the downside of such players. The upside is that one challenge gets the crowd going.

He goes for the challenge and it’s 100% pen.

His chest control was awful before that

I think if he steps in on Palmer then Palmer drops like a stone and it's a pen. Yes Tanner pulls out of the challenge but I'm not sure he had much choice.

His touch I’m talking about

Yeh. Touch was poor, but I’d have to watch it again to see what sort of reaction time he had.

good save from their unconvincing keeper.

Agree, the problem was really that Vyner let the cross come in, in the first place

Mehmeti is a bit like Jamie Paterson for me. Turns up once in a blue moon.

Incidentally he’s signed for Charlotte FC where Dean Smith is manager.

Reality is if we are wanting to push for top 6. Then players like Mehmeti aren’t going to help us get there.

Think today tells me we’re still not a top 6 side yet. We don’t have the real quality of squad depth yet. Likes of Mehmeti aren’t good enough. Although I like Wells he’s had his day. Questions still over the defence for me also. 1 or 2 who start that aren’t top 6 quality but would be better on the bench.

1-1 will be a poor result.

Would it? Beforehand I think we'd have all been OK with it, while wanting 3.

We've been impressive for most of the afternoon without creating enough, and what we've created their keeper has been equal to.

Much more impressed with this than I was a week ago, even if we don't win

Agreed. Unless Twine had indicated he had picked up knock, that was a strange sub. Mehmeti offered nothing. Likewise Bird had been one of our best players and Wells did nothing when he came on for  him.
