If he did it would play like “Mr Maning has the full confidence of the board of directors”

It's Liam Manning that is responsible for the first team. Tinnion and Co have given him the tools he wanted (or most of them). It's up to him to front up at some point if necessary. I don't think BT would add anything useful to the conversation. 1
Silvio Dante Posted Monday at 15:50 Share Posted Monday at 15:50 There you go. Regrettably no dulcet Geordie tones disclosing confidential financial information and getting arsey at gentle questioning tonight.
Mr Popodopolous Posted Monday at 15:57 Share Posted Monday at 15:57 Is Lee Poole one of our Pied Piper of Hamlin Influencer fans? Bit far by me maybe but there are a handful I can think of.

Not heard of the other guy.

I don't wish to critique other platforms hut the 2 admins on the FB BS3 City Group let's just say they're excessively bullish. Not City Till I Die but their spin and or Jollity is unreadable at times. Edited Monday at 16:16 by Mr Popodopolous
Mr Popodopolous Posted Monday at 17:16 Share Posted Monday at 17:16 Lee Poole thinks we should revert back to a Back 3, also thinks fans will turn quite badly if we repeat the last couple of displays. Tanner at Wingback...hmm.

Mr Popodopolous Posted Monday at 17:28 Share Posted Monday at 17:28 (edited) Lee Poole again. "Be brave, right decisions- get crowd back". Fair... "Fans need to be patient, fairly defensive- could well be quite nervous". "Results business, by hook or by crook". Oh dear, not ideal on Family Day whereby we choose that game with a solid win in mind. At Home to on paper the weakest newly Promoted Side back in July or so it seemed. Davefevs Posted Monday at 18:06 Share Posted Monday at 18:06 (edited) 13 minutes ago, Mr Popodopolous said: Well I made a small mistake there, he appears to be Head of Football Operations. Brian Tinnion is Technical Director. Tom Rawcliffe is Chief Operating Officer. Although it is never clearly spelled out, what the exact roles and responsibilities are, nor reporting lines, we have gleaned from Tinnion himself that he heads up the football “playing” side of things, inc Medical, Academy and Recruitment. Tom looks after the Football Operation, what I’d term the more logistical (probably a shit word) side of things like Finance (obvs!), running the business, liaising with Ashton Gate Ltd (Stadium stuff) and Bristol Sport (commercial, marketing, ticketing, etc). So you need to be careful using the term “Football Operation” in regards to Tinnion. That gives an inaccurate context. Tinnion’s role is more akin to the Director of Football role though. So not really an issue to call him a DoF even if it’s not his real job title. Edited Monday at 18:07 by Davefevs 1
