Oxford fans singing "Manning, Manning what's the score" and now "your getting sacked in the morning"...

It's actually ventriloquist City fans ! :shocking:

Got relegation written all over this team when you've got the likes of Armstrong running around up front.

Can't score, can't defend.

Relegation fodder.

It’s a worry. Overall, objectively, we were ok that half…but if we cannot score and we look a million miles away from keeping a clean sheet, only one way it is going. Oxford have come closest to getting a second in the match.

Feel like it’s a big big half for Manning coming up.

Players not following the game plan. Created more opportunities but none really clear cut chances.

Not sure I agree with this. We have made some good chances....just bad decision making or poor product that has resulted in nothing.

Interesting reading through the comments. Think we have been the better side, need to take the chances we are making. Oxford took their chance, but other than an incredible long-range effort from Demeblele haven't really threatened that much - they have definitely had moments where they have looked like they could be dangerous, but none of those have amounted to much.

At this point, I'm happy with the performance and would like to see us maintain it 2nd half (something we have not been good at!), The only big negative is the current score line and that will only matter at FT.

Tin hat on…

Going on 1-0 down is pretty harsh.
Mehmetis finishing terrible again
Armostrongs first header is a terrible miss.

However to caveat that - if you sign a striker that doesn’t score you can’t moan at him when he continues to not score!!

Big 45 coming up, Oxford look pretty bad at the back and Vaulks coming on can only be a good thing!

That's bullshit!

If you think that Armstrong header wasn't clear cut you have no clue!

This is what happens when you set out to strengthen your attack but don't buy any players with a record of scoring goals.

Recruitment in the summer was absolutely abysmal

I was the only one saying this.....

3 in 60 odd and an unknown for 4 or 5 million

Well done Brian 👏👏

The most boring manager since Sod. Get him gone .

Agree, but i always liked SOD prior to us, just think it was the wrong place wrong time but always thought he was capable, more so than Manning!

Apart from their goal, we had a good half but missed the numerous chances we made. We could easily be a couple up, so the reaction on here is very disappointing. We should be recognising the good play - and their midfield certainly haven’t dominated. Look at the stats on possession and shots.
